    Hi All
Just wondering if anyone can help answer a question I have. I am new to the forum and did the life insurance quote for the extra points.
Two payments have been taken out of my account - 9/11 and 28/11, no points have appeared yet :( I am not sure when to cancel - is it after 3 payments have been taken or after 3 mths?

Thank you :) <- haven't found the smiley faces yet!

    It's after 3 payments

Thank you bruticus - I didn't want to make a mistake and pay more than I needed before cancelling, if you know what I mean :)

Are you sure its after 3 payments, it clearly stated after 3 months!?

I too do not want to pay more than I have to but in my view (I had two payments 01/11 and 21/11) Wouldnt that mean I would cancel 01/02/2012 (3 months after first payment).

  • Now I am a little confused.... especially as I have to pay 7.50 a month -couldn't get a lower monthly payment. The two payments going out in same month (8th Nov and 28th Nov) have thrown me a bit.... not hundred per cent sure what to do. Maybe I should phone and ask after third payment as my hours have been reduced at work so would be a reason to think about cancelling. Shall think about it for a while longer.

    thanks

My 3000 points have been applied today yay.

I took out the insurance about a month ago, first payment went out on the 17th November..

Very efficient for Tesco, shame they cant be used for a while though...

im-lost if you mean that the points cannot be used for a while, youd be much better using these in deals especially in restaurants as its 4 per 1, etc.

I took out 2 policies and have received 1 lot of points, hoping the others will follow soon or I will be making a phone call. Anyone know when next statements are due from Tesco?
Same here - me & wife book took out policies. Only 1 lot of points showing at present :(
    Be nice

Hmmm. My points were credited a few days ago, but so far I've only paid two months premiums. Should I cancel now or wait until the next payment has gone - are Tesco in the habit of pulling back points?

    Hi,
My points are in, just wondering if they will stay there if I cancel before third payment? Any ideas? TIA
