cyclonebri1 - it's very hard to know - and you probably won't find out until you go to get the tyre repaired - it's a last resort. Some gunk definitely ruins the tyre, and I think some doesn't. I think that I've got stuff that doesn't, but I haven't seen anything with an actual label saying that the tyre will be resusable.
First thing to do is pump the tyre back up and see how far you get on it.

Yep that's the issue that I guess not to many folks realise, it's just a get you home measure resulting in the tyre no longer being usable, ok, that can be the result of any puncture but using that stuff (excuse pun) nails it:D.

From what I recall it was the tyre repairers who would not risk the repair, which didn't leave you with many options tbh.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Well that gunk is meant to be difficult to get out, so maybe it's less work and more money to just slap a new tyre on. All you need to do is make sure you stop and pump it up (several times if necessary of course), if the puncture is slow enough. If it's not slow, the tyre won't be repairable anyway.
