Pahahahahaha! I got a missed call from them. Will try to get them to think I'm very interested and willing to give them my bank details, but will only do it in person. I'll see if I can lure them out and take a photo of them or get a physical address.

It sounds like that "postcode lottery" thingy that was advertised on tv recently.

I went to their website and entered a comp for an Ipad and a few days later whilst at work, I got a call from a number similar to this trying to get me to sign up with them for a monthly fee etc. I naturally refused. No mention of the elusive Ipad though! ;)

I'm not sure what the number was exactly as it's been deleted from my call log.

I signed up to a competition the other day to test the next generation of ipads before they get released, then keep it after the test is finished.

Got a call from 02070597699 today telling me i had won, so naturally i let them proceed with the call.

The woman with a foreign accent immediately switched to talking about the lottery, asking questions in a very pushy and muffled manor, like 'Do you play the lottery? No? Why not? But you could win a lot of money, why do you not play it?' then straight onto trying to make me sign up to a syndicate, saying i dont have to pay money, its only x amount of £ per week. I told her thats still paying money and i dont want to make a financial commitment, she got pushier. I told her i'm not interested and she hung up.

The only mention of the ipad was at the start of the call to get me listening.

I've saved the number so i can enjoy the call next time >;]

had a call from this num saying id entered a comp for an ipad/10k and was shortlisted...so naturally listened on while he confirmed my details i'd entered....he then moved on to try and get me to sign up to lotteries, etc...so i would say the whole thing was a complete scam! googled the number and seems as though others have had the same thing happen! just thought i would warn the rest of you!

    thanks for the info :j
