Now, talking of snowballs. Anyone know where i can buy them? DD is 15 and horrified at the thought of alcohol - she is quite a puritan in that respect. Now i know that this is better than some her age who drink loads of WKD or bacardi breezer but i don't want her in a year or two going for it big time and she has expressed an interest in snowballs after i was reminiscing about them with MIL.

But i can't find them. I know i could make them up but then i'd have to buy a whole bottle of advocaat only for her not to like it.

Oh, and i'm gonna have a glass of wine

    because i'm worth it.

  • yes please Mrs C - to brandy and gherkins :D (not both in the drink mind)

VJ - i saw on Nigel slaters show that you can cook with Advocaat, a chap cooked off apples in it for on pancakes, maybe you could have that as a fall back use ;)
