Oh shegar, I hope the morning brings better news for you? I felt shocked and saddened when I read your post and thought it made my issues focus clearly into perspective.
Good day to you all. I'm sitting here freezing but it's a lovely bright day out there. We need to go and finish the Christmas shopping later on today when we drop DS's friend off at home. Hope not to have to spend too much more but ought to go and check the bank before we spend anything. Worried about it being very low now as it's pay day on Thursday. Shockingly expensive at this time of year and I can't pay by cheque any where. Bye for now :)

Thanks to you all,,well gary is much the same , he said he is so scared of having a big stroke again, I told him not to look at things like that and we will take each day as it comes, and deal with things, we go to the stroke unit on monday, got to be there at 9 so will have carer come in at 6, so that means im up at 5....

Billy is still in the vets, he made it through last night which none of us thought was possible , ive been and seen him twice today, poor little chap I picked him up he was so warm because they have him laying on a soft fleecy blanket and another fleecy blanket up to his neck, he is on a drip,he as a radiator next to him, I gave him a little hug and told him mum and dad want you back cos the house is not the same without you, and our slippers are where ive left them.!!!

Vet said she has given him everything she can, nothing more she can do but keep him on fluid drips and antibiotics, she said should would phone me at 9 tonight after she has been to him again, he seems to have something wrong with his kidneys they have shown up on x rays has very enlarged, but she is waiting for the blood test results back on monday to determine whats going on............He got through last night so fingers crossed ,
Its amazing how sometimes things go terribly wrong all at once, trouble is my weeks respite was good but right now I dont feel as if ive had a day let alone a week, im exhausted again.......I may ask Social Services if they can give me a week in January when things have hopefully settled down a bit at home, but for now I take everyday as it comes , and try to keep very calm , because you dont know what each day brings, its been such a cold day again, ive had the heating on all day plus hubby as got a beautiful thick fleece blanket over him so we def dont go cold and musnt, heat is so important .....Take care all .............

    Morning Everyone :)

(((((((((((((((((((( shegar )))))))))))))))))))))))) I hope things go well at the Stroke Unit on Monday and that you and your DH have managed to get some rest. fingers crossed that your dog is through the worse and improving.
Have some dodgy looking hugs from The SDG family :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Today I'm hoping to feel more awake than I did yesterday. By 8pm I was practically falling asleep in my dinner, which when you have guests is a bit embarassing. Thankfully they didn't mind me wandering around looking like a reject from a Zombie movie. (DS2 is obsessed with Zombies and some of his preparations for the upcoming apocalypse must have rubbed off).
I did go and see my former neighbour Noreen in the care home. I'm ashamed to admit how long it is between visits, but even though she looks so much better now and is properly cared for, I still find it traumatic to go and see her. It just brings back all the stress and worry from a year ago. She wasn't feeling very well so we didn't stay too long. We will go back on Boxing Day and take her some photos of us and her friends from the street.
I have to make a chocolate birthday cake today for my neighbour and go to see Mr S in the hope of getting some bargains. Sainsburys keep sending money off vouchers and it seems a pity not to use them.
    Take care everyone xxx
