Yep, I'm keeping an eye on the poll and it's useful to gauge opinion but it's worth remembering it's been linked to on threads people who don't want threads moved are posting on so may be skewed somewhat.
Just a reminder as well, Board Guides are volunteer forum users - they don't see every thread and we don't expect them to at all - if there are threads you feel aren't Grabbits but are on here then you need to send the links to the board guides to suggest they take a look.
Andrea, as geennaa has asked, if you are concerned about the integrity of the poll results, could you (or someone else from the forum team) not post a poll from the main grabbit it page (or from the Bargain Buys, Sassy Shopping page)0 -
I often try to access the grabbits from my mobile inside Tesco. That's difficult because the signal isn't very good and the mse website is really hard to navigate using a mobile (For example, no 'next' button for the posts so I have to enlarge it to see the next page number and loads of links all over the place so I often inadvertently go somewhere I didn't intend to go!) Using the mobile I rely heavily on the title of each thread but if all the Tesco ones have been merged into one thread which includes loads of chat, then I simply can't find the grabbits. So I have voted for them all to stay on the grabbit board but I also want a separate thread for each grabbit -- please!
I do exactly the same Picasso.
I live nearly 25 miles from my nearest Tesco, so I tend to go for a coffee to checkout whats on grabbit before coming home.. I would be so peeved if I got home from Tesco only to find that there's a huge glitch going on and Ive just left there... being I live so far away from one anyway... hence, probably why I had a letter to stay I outstayed my welcome in Tesco car park a few weeks ago!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
BUT.... It is just so much easier only having to check the grabbit board on my mobile0 -
Just go to the gone but not forgotten thread Tesco 11+ . Somewhat illogically for many, new Tesco grabbits are posted there by a group who prefer to have a grabbit area seperate from the main board.
Yes like the 1p thread that's in Gone but not forgotten for seemingly this reason

Well I did artha, but one big thread makes it impossible to see which offers are currently working in store as it is a discussion thread, I did try searching through it but only found mention of what had happened here and the mince, which only through that thread I knew about the mince I could then use the search facility. Would have taken me two seconds to have found it on grabbit, where it should be.Comping wishlist for 2017

I know i've said it several times now but...Food shopping & Groceries as a sub-section on the grabbit board.
That way everyone can find all the Tesco offers, DTDs & other supermarket glitches in one easy to view place.
Its only the past month or so where the Grabbit board has gotten messy, mainly due to the advent of all the Tesco food threads - I'm not saying thats a bad thing but, it kinda opened the doors to loads of other daft posts like is this cheap, is that cheap, where can i find this that & the other & look what i bought today sort of things. It started to get more like shop but don't drop.
I've seen so many people complaining about how the grabbit board is the past few days but..cast your mind back a couple of months...who was complaining then when all the food related topics were posted in the food shopping forum huh?? It always has been & still will be the most popular part of the forumHmmmmmmm0 -

If you believe it may be skewed because of it's link to other threads start a new one on grabbit so all users can vote.0 -
Here's a link to the grabbit poll, so please vote if you have'nt all ready

I'm not voting as I don't mind if the tesco grabbits are on the grabbit thread or the food shopping and grocery thread or even some on each. I don't want them spread all over everywhere though.0 -
So this is pretty much how Grabbit looks at the moment. Where do you draw the line exactly?
70% off Pans at Tesco (Voucher Collect) (not very short term and requires a huge spend, should be on Vouchers, no?)
Mecca Bingo online - Deposit £15 get £15 free play + £15 cashback from Quidco! (should this be on Gambling?)
Wrigleys Extra chewing gum - win a fiver competition - should make you a profit (a competition)
£5 Tesco voucher Daily Mail Rewards Club (Again, a voucher?)
Tesco Pringle Glitch - See link from HUKD -> Pringles Tubes (165g) - 25p @ Tesco EXP (is this not a grocery item?)
Tesco glitch on Uncle Ben's rice/risotto, Free! (same again)
Yet these are NOT on Grabbit
Tesco Finest Pork Mince (a short lived glitch/error)
Amazon Grocery 10 x 433ml Fairy Liquid £4.67 (massive reduction that keeps changing price)
Galaxy at Tesco, double discount. (a price glitch, so short lived)
Tesco Wholewheat Penne 22p! (while stocks last, lots of stores already ran out)
Free Philadelphia at Sainsbury's(a freebie with a voucher, if we want to be picky)
Airwick Freshmatic Max 2p @ Asda Instore (obviously in the same league as the Tesco 1p thread which MSE themselves took the OP from and left in Grabbit)
The former are short lived offers are available to everyone and are simply available until they are pulled or stock runs out. The latter however are often hit and miss despite how quick you are. The tesco ones are mainly misprices/glitches that are often posted after it is possibly too late or more frustratingly pointless in pursuing unless you are one of the group that have the time make Tesco bargain hunts a social event.
In some of this debate I do think the phrase the tail wagging the dog
comes to mind. I personally don't mind where things are posted as long as it is logical. If you are flexible and open minded it doesn't take long to find what you wantAwaiting a new sig0 -
How can it be warped results when links have also been put on the groceries as well as the grabbit board?
If the users who frequent the groceries board are happy with the influx of threads then they will surely vote no to the grabbits remaining on the grabbit forum?!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
