    Hi nikkilala

Yep, I'm keeping an eye on the poll and it's useful to gauge opinion but it's worth remembering it's been linked to on threads people who don't want threads moved are posting on so may be skewed somewhat.

Just a reminder as well, Board Guides are volunteer forum users - they don't see every thread and we don't expect them to at all - if there are threads you feel aren't Grabbits but are on here then you need to send the links to the board guides to suggest they take a look.

Well you say people have complained and asked for things to be changed, but apart from the actual votes, look at how many people took the time to comment and say how hard it now is to find stuff.

I often try to access the grabbits from my mobile inside Tesco. That's difficult because the signal isn't very good and the mse website is really hard to navigate using a mobile (For example, no 'next' button for the posts so I have to enlarge it to see the next page number and loads of links all over the place so I often inadvertently go somewhere I didn't intend to go!) Using the mobile I rely heavily on the title of each thread but if all the Tesco ones have been merged into one thread which includes loads of chat, then I simply can't find the grabbits. So I have voted for them all to stay on the grabbit board but I also want a separate thread for each grabbit -- please!

Why not just have a tesco sub page, like the grabbit, music and free stuff .
Then just put all tesco in one place not scattered all over different sub sections

well could You not put a poll on yourself Andrea and then everyone would vote?
  • As you said 92% of your vote which I am sure you are aware is not 92% of mser's its in fact a very tiny amount compared with amount of people who use this forum

If thats the best counter argument you can come with, I think you are clutching at straws! :D

I love to see a Tecso grabbit some I benefitted from and some I haven't. If the tesco one are being moved to the food, shopping and groceries board and only that board I don't see that as being a problem, it's only one more board to check. If they were being moved here there and everywhere then I thinks that's reason for complaint.
I see your point camberman that it would seem other things should be moved too, lots of the posts on grabbit are shopping or vouchers but lets not have anything else being moved about or we'll find nothing.

I happy with the tesco posts on grabbit or shopping or even both but don't like the idea of all of the tesco ones merged as it would be so hard to find anything, I like different threads

edit - just realised I thought the thread was food/ shopping and groceries but it's food shopping - reading it correctly the food & grocery ones go on that board everything else on grabbit eg irons, stationery, towels

I spent an hour this morning trying to find where the Tesco grabbits had been moved too unnecessarily, and there was no links from the grabbit board to them. If board guides want to move them elsewhere then can you at least have a sticky to tell us where to post Tesco grabbits and where to find them as people are missing out on time-limited good deals, for example this morning 500g of mince going through £1 a pack was moved - if that's not a grabbit I don't know what is.
Just go to the gone but not forgotten thread Tesco 11+ . Somewhat illogically for many, new Tesco grabbits are posted there by a group who prefer to have a grabbit area seperate from the main board.

The reason we post there is because we have been moved there twice. A few people complained that their was too much chat on the thread, but over there we can chat away to our hearts content as well as benefit from deals we find without the fear of them being moved, everyones welcome:) After all we all originated from the grabbit board

  • I have only seen very few people opposed to the Tesco grabbits, with the soaring rise in food costs and the fact that many families are finding it hard to even feed their family let alone buy the luxuries posted on here surely it is in the best interest for grabbits that can help those feed their families on a tight budget or get the essentials cheaper should remain to help those who need it most?

Perhaps there is a better way to do it but I don't think moving threads randomly is helping anyone, those who oppose the threads only have to ignore them. I just cant see logic, for those who need to make sure they can feed their family on a pittance these threads make the world of difference, them being here wont make much of a difference to those who oppose except little more effort to scrollthe page and click a button.
