theres no new offers in there, but i did find a chicken offer for morrisons on the 3rd page of grabbit forum :) so where are all the new bargains being posted? maybe on hukd? i dunno, :shrugs.. im fed up trying to find stuff in here

But if people thought about it logically... post grocery offers on grocery board - logical place to find it... there WOULD be "new" offers :D

And who on earth is going to moan about a load of tesco grocery offers on a grocery board? No one..

It's a win win situation that some are too unwilling to see!!

It's worked for YEARS... a lot longer than some of those who are complaining they can't find anything have been members for!!!

Please bear in mind that a number of users have multiple ID's or have been lurkers for a long time before they registered.

eg My sister has been using this site for years and has never registered because she has nothing she desperately wants to say, she just notes down the deal and acts on it.

I think it's unfair to imply whether intended or not, that a user's length of membership should strengthen/weaken the validity of a complaint regarding grabbit boards. Sometimes the newbies make the best points

It was meant to be tongue in cheek hence the wink. I have actually seen some people posting that they spend a large amount of time most days either in Tesco, travelling to and from Tesco and looking through these threads. There have been times when i've got caught up in the bargain hunting and had to tell myself that it's getting silly and out of proportion despite the fact that, being retired through redundancy and OH now only working part time, we are on what would be considered to be a low income.

I understand what you mean about some people spending every day in T's , sometimes 3 times a day or multiple branches but thats definitely not everyone ;) lol

Like I said am hardly in T's myself which is why I have never even done DTD and actually my receipts are usually accurate too but if I did shop in there MORE often there would be a higher chance of errors on my receipt as I don't buy much when I'm in there either as have to get it home on the bus..

I'm just happy if all the thread moving has come to an end if it is a relevant genuine short term grabbit! :)

Haha I said this is what would happen to a colleague - the post where I mention longevity will be picked up on... but the one where I make a logical suggestion where everyone can post tesco grocery threads to their heart's content and never ever get grumbled at for it is ignored :)

Why keep trying to have a war when the answer is staring everyone in the face!

    so why bother saying it?

There is no war, neither a battle, or even a disagreement, i dont come on this site for such matters. You made a commment, I felt it needed challenging. I've done that now and wont get into any further debate about it, but Kyresa, thank you for replying

When grabbits such as the pork mince, which was a definite glitch and short term, disappeared within about 10 minutes, I think some panic set in amongst some of us;) I think that most of us will agree that the long term offers should move to other boards.

As far as the poll, I started that to see if it was just a few that were concerned about some of the grabbits being moved, or if it was the minority. I appreciate that it may seem skewed to some, but due to the fact that it was moved pretty quickly, unless the links were posted to it most people were'nt even aware of it. If people were having difficuty finding some grabbits they had no chance in finding the
    poll;)

I would like to say thank you to all the board guides for all the work they put in which is appreciated and any form of abuse towards them is totally wrong and is something that I personally have never participated in, I treat people as I would like to be treated myself:)

I know that you will never please all of the people all of the time, what a strange world it would be if we were all the same:) But if the short term grabbits stay on the grabbit board then I think the majority will be happy;)

Thanks again to all the mods and hopefully we can all draw a line under this as everyone is clear that the short term grabbits will be staying.

Just trying to make what i think is a logical comment but if the pork mince had been posted on the Tesco misprice thread 12 where it belongs instead of the broad headline thread would it have been moved? As I and quite a number of others have posted shouldn't all Tesco related glitches etc be in one place just as they used to be?

Tesco glitches and misprices are unique in that they are only for dedicated followers who are prepared to have a wasted journey as there is absolutely no guarantee that your local store will have this offer. I have found this to my cost hundreds of times when going to my local. Dedicated followers will also have the know how to navigate through long posts which contain the unique information, insight, banter and discussion that distinguishes this site from HUKD. Those who need to find these deals to make ends meet( and I really do feel for them) should perhaps use HUKD if they are not interested in the discussion. You can;t have a one size fits all forum

Oh dear, this is very confusing, has a decision been made yet about whats going where, I dont know where to look for things any more?!

I didnt know there was a poll, didnt find that either:o

My personal opinion, is that although the mods may not want too many sub boards, I do think that there are a large amount of Grabbits and other tesco related threads, which could make quite a healthy sub board in its own right.

My preference is for individual threads, which maybe considered untidy, but some of the huge threads where lots of things are lumped together, are just so difficult to navigate through and are disjointed as discussion tends not to flow as there are so many different offers being discussed in one thread.

...but thats just my personal opinion, when whoever is making the decisions, has done so, can they please tell the little people like me, where things have been moved to, and where things should go please, so I can still try and find offers (hopefully before they finish)?:o

Point 1: I thought it was now very clear. I think everything is where it belongs although I've never had a problem so can't say for sure. Still don't understand why people keep posting that they can't find anything

Point 2: If you didn't know there was a poll then you haven't been on here for a while. It seemed like every thread was being littered with news and discussion of the poll. You haven't missed much as the poll is being ignored by MSE. Go back a few posts and you'll find about it

Well I must be very thick then, because I dont think its clear, before I knew where to look for tesco stuff, now its being moved about and split up into different areas, its only where it belongs if people can find it. Im not the only one asking to be informed where things have been put. If all tesco stuff was on a sub board it could be found much more easily.

I have been here for quite a while thank you, and perhaps the poll discissions were hidden among the VERY long threads of bickering and chat, that ive been trying to skip through to actually try and find the offers

Thats me firmly put in my place then, last time I offer an opinion:(
