Turns out this big campaign website consists of wait for it...................2 people. :rotfl:
Now they are skint and begging for handouts.
Tell you what mate. Just get a job and save like everyone else. I'm donating 0 pence to your cause now jog on son!

Just been looking at Priced Out's Facebook page and they are after donations. I know they get a mixed response on here but at the end of the day, they're pretty much the only group to do any sort of lobbying on our behalf. And as far as I understand it, there's only the two of them who do a lot of unpaid running around, attending meetings, writing press releases etc. and this not only takes time but money too.
I'm always hearing folk on here bigging up their earnings, so why not put your money where your mouths are and throw a few quid their way?

BTW I'm a member of the FB group but otherwise have no affiliations to Priced Out.

The "homebuyers strike" facebook group needs help too.
A whopping 349 342 members now, and falling fast.

2 people running the campaign / website does not equate to only 2 members. Idiot.0 -
To be honest, including Priced Out, the three house price crash websites are suffering presently (well, they would be 7 years after the crash was predicted).
Creditcrunch has two members on this morning and three topics posted upon yesterday. That's the problem with allowing only one view - there's no-one to have a reasoned discussion with. I hope Cc goes to hell in a hand basket, banning bulls for being bulls and allowing bears to call the webmaster the c word. :beer:0 -

Found itThe campaign is growing rapidly and already has more than two thousand registered members.
2000 / 65000000 = roughly 0.03% of the population:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

Yes, very good. Like how you are including people in elderly homes, and 6 month old babies. I know it makes not much difference to the point you are making, but the basics today are unbelievable.
Everything seems to be on a very VERY basic level today with the bullish collective. Inflation up 5.2% - Woop, my mortgage now costs me 5.2% less. Pensions up 5.2% - woop, pensioners haven't lost a penny. 2 people running priced out = woop, only 2 members.
Whatever makes you feel better I guess.0 -

Their facebook group only has 630 members.:)
I blame the apathetic youth of today.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Yes, it took us a while, but we did finally realise that more nuanced arguments go right over your head.
You're welcome, by the way.:D“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Shame that none of the many many posters on here who STR'd in late 2007 and invested everything in gold could share a few shekels with this declining VI group0

It has more support than this one though:

(the petition with the most support when you enter "house prices" in the search box before the usual suspects start)0 -
