Thailand has nothing to offer somebody who is not into sex. That sounds bad but it's a fact.

That does sound bad and actually it's not a fact.
I know quite a few professionals that havebased themselves in Thailand for tax reasons and are happily married.

Indeed, There are a couple who are making the move to Koh Samui next week to improve their work / life balance.

Sitting in 5* KL hotel now. What you doing?

Which one? I prefer the Traders Hotel.

I've been in the Shangri-La, reported to be the best hotel in KL,but I didn't rate it as high as other I had been in.

My wife likes the IOI Palm resort, although not in KL, it's very nice ambiance and is used by some of the F1 teams during the Gran Prix week.

If your in KL, I guess you'll be heading down to the Beach club ;)

Clearly you are still in prep 1 at school as a man and woman who become a couple and have a child ARE a family. I won't humiliate you further by printing the Oxford English Dictionary definition. Honestly, keep up at the back.

I can pretty much 100% guarentee that you have spent your whole life being humiliated over and over again.

Hows the split personality going you freaky little weirdo:rotfl:

On the contrary you can't pretty much guarantee anything apart from being a man-baby living at home under mummy well into your thirties/forties and when you do leave it will be forever... in a bedsit. Good luck.

My money is great now and I'm earning from my rental property in UK.

Life could be a lot worse.

I'm certainly having a lot more fun than you are.
To be honest I don't know what you are about.

You say you have a perfect life with loads of dough. In your situation why are you worried that UK house prices are too high?

I think you are somebody who cannot afford a house in UK and is convincing yourself living in Bangkok is what you want.
Actually it's not. Thailand has nothing to offer somebody who is not into sex. That sounds bad but it's a fact. Every single ex pat I know (and that's a lot) are here for the girls. We make do with the other rubbish just for that reason.

Take that scene away and only a total moron would want to stay here. Dirty smelly country full of thicko's. Still if you like playing the big chief then crack on.

I wouldn't swop my life for anything. I thank god everyday.

Sitting in 5* KL hotel now. What you doing?

What are you talking about? I have absolutely no interest in UK house prices. I'm neither bearish nor bullish - I'm completely indifferent. I sold my UK house over a decade ago. And I don't live in the UK either.

I live between Hong Kong (genuine expat package, rent paid etc) and Bangkok where I own a fully paid up apartment on Sukhumvit 11, and a fully paid up beach house in Hua Hin, to which I will retire permanently in 2-3 years.

So whether or not I can afford a house in the UK is irrelevant, isn't it. I never intend to live there again.

Incidentally, I have cash savings roughly comprising three times the average UK house price, seperate share investments, a pension fund that alone would will provide me with a retirement income and no debts or mortgage. So, yes, I can afford to buy house(s) in the UK, but why would I?

I too thank God every day. Actually, no I don't. I thank myself for working hard and working smart.

What am I doing right now? I'm in my office overlooking Victoria Harbour, preparing for a trip to Singapore tonight and then a long weekend in Phuket with my beautiful wife (who isn't an ex-prostitute).

The thing I find disagreeable in you, Sibley, is that you have no grace. You big yourself up (to use your phrase) and yet frankly you aren't doing that well in life - mid level management job, poor salary (don't forget you told me what you earned months ago). I have no problems with that. We all make our way in life by our own paths. But you delight in taunting people you think can't afford UK house prices (look at the title of this thread, by way of example) and yet you're not exactly a shining example of success yourself.

There should be someone along soon accusing you of boasting - oh wait a minute, not bullish, that'll do nicely. ;)

What does the Thai sex industry have to do with UK house prices?

What a very bizzare post. Thailand is a long way to go to satisfy your sex addiction when, in London for instance, an escort can be hired for less then £100 per hour.

Hi reweird. You didn't answer my question.

How is it you were aware of the poster "rewired" and managed to join this locked hidden forum using an obvious play on his name?

    Just luck was it? ;)
