BB I did wonder for a while why anyone would want a free baglady, then I re-read it & realised, doh!
Adelight potatoes can be frozen once cooked, but can go a little watery, as I was using them to top fish in parsley sauce I just made the parsley sauce a bit thick & stirred it all in togather & it was delicious.
Well my roof is done & I'm really pleased with it, a lot of money spent, but needs must.
I withdrew from the union at work today, it's £9 a month I can ill afford & TBH if I'm in it I have to strike that means I lose a day's pay, something else I can ill afford.
Just done hubby's expenses, he is owed £200 & I doubt he will see it before Christmas!
We have a lot of people off sick atm & so there a few extra duties that need covering I've volunteered for some, I know I shall be worn out after doing them but it's all more money in the pay packet.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Hello all,

Have been feeling rotten for last few days....not hungry and have had stomach cramps and many rushes to the loo....have only had 2 small dinners since Saturday and they haven't sat well....would spend all my time in bed if it wasn't for the fact that my Aussie cousin is still here....he leave on Saturday and I will miss him...feel that I haven't been a great hostess but he comes every year so hopefully I can make up for it next year.

As doctor didn't seem able to diagnose my problem am going to dentist on Thursday to see if loose tooth is at the root of the problem.

Hugs to all, hopefully will be back soon in better humour.

Well I have been weeping and watching television most of the day ......... was wonderful to see the first pictures of Gilad Shalit this morning and just heaved a huge sigh of relief when he walked into his house at 5 pm today.......I hope that he will be left in relative peace now to begin what will surely be a long healing process...........its very bittersweet as not everyone agreed with the price that was payed but wonderful to know that tonight he will be sleeping in his own bed with his parents close by.

Hope everyone had a good day........

    ((((Candy)))

Brrrr it's freezing here :( was a lovely crisp autumn day though.

Busy day. Took my 2 new colleagues to our West Wales office in the morning, gave them the guided tour, picked up some bits, and introduced them to everyone. Got back bout half 2, and then after a quick cuppa in the office I left to go for acupuncture.

Bumped into my friend who lives in Canada's parents outside acupuncture place, had quick catch up with them. My friend is coming back in Dec for a week :j, can't wait. I had my acupuncture, and the nice woman only charged me half price cos I've been going for a while now :D.

After that I went for dinner with my parents and nan in their local pub. Had a nice meal and my nan gave me £20 for my hols .

I've started packing....well thowing stuff at my suitcase, does that count?! :rotfl:.

OS wise - WM has just finished with last of stuff I am taking on hols, going to put it on electric airer now.

    Night all

    Evening everyone

Sorry not been posting, feeling exhausted with new job and dealing with ds2. I have been advised by dr can't get presription for his melatonin from them anymore and has to be referred back to camhs. So back to lack of sleep again for me. Don't know how I will cope this time. Ended up really run down b4 he was given melatonin. Don't think I will be able to cope with hours of new job and don't know what to do. I am feeling such a failure at the moment.

Only os today is made omlettes and emptied dishwasher.

I have been reading just not managing to post. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.

Personally, I think she's finding the "working dog" biscuits a bit difficult to crunch - older dogs can get tooth problems

She wouldn't settle last night, so I relented and let her lie on the Chinese rug in the bedroom

LW Have you tried moistening the biscuits with a bit of water about 10mins before feeding, then adding tinned food. That's that we do with ours to soften them up.

Re. sleeping by the bed. Oz not normally upstairs except when I'm alone and then he lies at the end of the bed. At the moment we are staying in a tiny flat and he can roam. Last night I had dumped my extra pillow on the floor next to the bed - I fell over him getting up in the dark to go to the bathroom. He was lying right next to the bed with his head on the pillow. I very nearly broke something - not sure whether it would have been him or me.

OS wise - 'sort of chilli' went down well but I will never be buying those mixed beans in vinaigrette again. They were almost sweet. Another four portions of the chilli to do Thursday and then take home for the freezer. Going out tomorrow night - Not to the F&C shop so hopefully I'll avoid an upset stomach again.
