  • Larder Fridge for £70!. Its undercounter white. Still very good if you need a good cheap one quickly (theyre forever going wrong!)

Theyve also got a large lot of drill accessories in a set and box for £10, and a BOSCH hammer drill for only £62, cordeless too.

Good deal on Matt Emulsion, 15 litres for £15 (1 pound a litre!)

They even have silver effect triple spotlight for £5, and a provincial 4 panel door for a tenner!

Chrome Kitchen tap for 15 quid, wireless Yale alarm system for 50 quid, a chainsaw for 50 quid (could come in handy for when the OH starts over-handling the TV remote :rotfl: )
    2010 Wins

Should be nationwide - The offers are part of B&Q's 'Orange Friday' (or something like that) - Available officially from Friday (surprise !), and while stocks last - Going to be an ongoing friday event I believe with different offers each week

  • Bought a Bosch PSB 24 VE-2 Cordless Hammer Drill with "Extra Toolkit" at the local B&Q yesterday for £62 as a birthday present for my Dad.

I think its the same drill as http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/catalogId/10651/partNumber/7105692.htm

and includes a drill bit kit inside the box, similar to http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/catalogId/10651/partNumber/7016327.htm

I shopped around for the best price, homebase also had them in at £139. The B&Q display drill had a price tag of £99 and thought that this would be the cheapest so asked to buy it. The B&Q guy apologised that the drill only was not available, but the one which included a really nice Drill kit was.

I thought that it would an extra £20 or so, but was shocked when he scanned the item and advised it was only £62 for the Drill & Extra Drill Bit Pack.

His hand was promptly bitten off, and my Dad now has a new Cordless Drill !

  • I'm not usually one for posting warnings about potential scams but I had a close miss yesterday.
I walked into B&Q and some old guy dressed in orange asked me if I wanted decking.
Fortunately, I got the first punch in and that was the end of that.
Those less suspecting might not be so lucky, so please pass this on to your friends, family and colleagues.......

B&Q have all their £1 box items reduced to 50p. Obviously not quite as good a reduction as Tesco but a bargain never the less!

    They had lots of things:
    Padlocks
    cable ties
suction toilet roll holders, toothpaste mugs, soap dishs
    halogen spotlights (packs of 2!)
    sticky hooks
    suction hooks
lots of other DIY type bits!

Worth a look if you happen to be passing.
