The Bosch only seems to have a single 1.3 Ah battery.

Wickes do a very similar drill that comes with two 1.9 Ah batteries and a two year warranty for £34.97.

EDIT ... As below this drill isn't SDS. So not really that good a comparision.

Except it's not a Bosch nor is it SDS..... There's a load of 24v cordless drills about, but you're best sticking with a decent brand if you're going to give it any welly.

Sorry didn't realise the bosch was SDS!

Re the brands ... I've found the Wickes stuff very good and with decent warranties.

I'm not so sure it is SDS? Certainly I can't find any reference to this model being SDS in any of the websites I've browsed?

This drill is not SDS but it is a very good drill that will last years and years as oposed to the cheap ones out there with plastic gears etc.
you will not be disapointed with this drill if you are a heavy user.

Funny it is still £129 at all the B&Q around stoke-on-trent area and when they rang the Bristol store they were told it was selling for £100 not £50!!
  • £100 in Cardiff too
Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

    Primum non noce!
  • £100 in Glasgow too.

Well i bought mine yesterday at the Bristol store for £50. They had a pallet load all with a sticker on saying ( was £129 now £50 ) when i went to the checkout it rang up as the full price so the sales assistant had to put the reduction in.
The ones on the shelf still had the original price on so maybe thats where the confusion lies.
