    this drill is not sds

sds is just a better drill stronger hammer action basically a heavy duty hammer drilling, most also stop the chuck turning so you can chase out with it

wickes drills are not very good at all, maybe not the drill its self but the batterys are really cheap crap

This is Ryobis DIY range but for general round the house use is a good deal , the batteries do not have a long life before re-charcharge but for DIY are OK !

Ryobi Profesionial is the best selling tool in Ozz, not up to Metabo standards are good value for money .

  • The reference of SDS is how the chuck holds the drill bit its got nothing to do with the actual drill itself.

    Slotted Drive System.
The drill bits have slots on the side for a more powerful grip and drive!

No it's not it's - "Steck Dreh Sitz" (Insert Twist Stay), oh hang around no it's not, it's "Schnell Drill System" oh no it's "Spannen durch System", no it's "Special Drill System" :-) Actually I think possibly at least three of those have been used by Bosch as explanations for the acronym.

Personally I call mine "Bloody Good Device For Putting Holes In Stuff With Minimal Effort" or BGDFPHISWME for short :-)
