Just thought i'd update this thread.
Had a letter back from the council today about my back pay appeal and it has been granted! So i will now receive 3 months back pay from the Monday i would have claimed.
Just shows you that the advisor who told me i didnt need to give any letters of evidence was wrong and this time with evidence of my finances etc they granted it.
Think the email from my husband to the Director of Finance, our local councilor and David Cameron must of helped!!
I await my payment! Hooraaaaahh!0 -

The advisor was not wrong - evidence of your finances was not relevant to your reason for backdating. TBH I'm guessing that they granted it to shut you up (it can be more cost effective than to have you keep appealing). Now please remember to put in your change of circumstances on time!0 -

I would have had this if i had of claimed in June so dont see the problem.
And yes when i get my first back to work pay slip at the end of November i will be going straight to the council to put in a change of circumstances.0
