bit the bullet and ordered through them. What a mistake. They processed my order and my payment for a pair of traditional bib taps, then did not deliver. They repeatedly assured me the product was due, one delivery day after another. Each time there was never a message giving a delivery time for each stated day; each time I would ring the company to ask what was going on. They would categorically tell me – there's a "delay of one day", or the order "will definitely be with you on Monday/Wednesday/Friday"; they let me have a long conversation and book another day for what eventually proved a phantom product. How come? Well, following research, contacting the product's manufacturer, I found the item had been discontinued in May this year. Taps4less appear not to keep stock and they were letting me order these taps in September. So there never was going to be a delivery (I could not find another company that supplied the product, or had it stashed in a warehouse). I was not offered a refund; I had to request it. I have threatened legal action. I have now had to demand the refund, citing their obligation to a legal contract (sales) and their "verging" near criminal intent.
Anyone else in the same boat?

What?????????
Why not carry out the legal action you have threatened them with?0 -
Well of course that will be ultimate action. Just thought I would shine a spotlight on this company.0

Then your post should be on The Praise, Vent & Warnings Board0 -
Hi burntfingers,
I agree that if you want to spotlight this company rather than request any help in dealing with them, then the vents board is the best place for your post so I'll move it across.Forum_Team wrote:

Dont buy from Taps4less - i made the mistake of ordering from them a Mira shower and a Mira monoblock sink tap set - it never turned up so after 10 days rang them and was told that the shower was no longer available - asked for a refund and was told they were done by the MD - after 3 days still no refund then saw the messages on here!!!!!!
After lots of phone calls and emails to them threatening legal action they eventually sent through a credit note for £136 just for the refund for the taps not the shower but no money in the bank!!
I pointed this out in an email to them and after 3 days £450 arrived in my bank account!!
Will I ever use them again - NOT ON YOUR NELLY!!0
