Just back for OOH GP who also thinks DS1 has Glandular Fever so we need to get some bloods done tomorrow (in between his brace removal in the am and retainers being fitted pm).
DS3 clothes sorted so I need to start looking in the boxes next to see if there is anything suitable for either DS2 or 3The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Minion is on her laptop, splats are splatted out across my bedroom, and I intend to do nothing more exciting than plan where or what to have for dinner. I might drag Minion out to do a supermarket shop, but she will probably protest.
So, today's big question - do I cook something, or do we go to a local independent pub for Sunday Roast?
i vote you go to the pub:beer:Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0 -

Thanks Dusty
Hope DS is ok
I have just treated myself to reading the ENTIRE thread (but skimming) while listing stuff to sell (from work, profits for School Private Fund which I am NOT to refer to, ever again, as 'your slush fund', apparently - clearly all office bods sensitive as we've just had the auditors in:rotfl:) - it's various packs of printer ink actually, all OOD but sealed so will be fine;)) I'm hoping, with the first lot I've brought home, to clear £25 for the fund. It's all HP stuff too - sadly none to 'fit' my ancient deskjet:(
Ex OH has told me his job finishes in Feb (outsourcing or something) he works for HDN which means my income will drop if he doesn't find anything. He came for DD yesterday and I said I wouldn't offer him a :coffee: due to stomach bug - he hoped I got better soon - big improvement as he wished me 6 feet under at one point!
Oh and 'get job' wishes for DS please who has been interviewed for job at Mr. M! And I get the staff discount if he gets it:T
FFP Hope DS is ok - know it was an op so I hope all progresses well
Piggers Good wishes for your DS and his job
METhe... knee mend soon and empty vibes
Fingers crossed for SoappieDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi Mudders and LadyL - good to see you.
Posivibes for Soappie.
Good to hear that the Funfair Princeis on the mend - wow, that sounds like it was a very lucky escape from a far worse injury.
We have Meg's suitcase more or less ready - she's due to be picked up at 17:00 this afternoon; I shall have to give her some dins before that, though (her regular dinnertime is 15:30-16:00).:o It's going to feel terribly empty around here next week!
Realised my passport will expire in a few months, so I've been online to fill out the form for a renewal - they print it off and send it to you, and you just have to sign and attach a photo. It worked fine when Mr LW renewed his a while back; we'll be going into town anyway on Thursday, so will pop into SnappySnaps and get the wretched photo done. *rolleyes*
Other than that - Mr LW found some carp in the loft which he has dutifully taken to the tip; and he's done this week's ironing.:A
Valli GWS. D&V doesn't sound like a heap of laughs.:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Yuck. Cannot believe the amount of crap coming out of the carpets. Hired a Rug Doctor - thought we might as well do it after all the painting. There is so much yuck. And tomorrow I get back on the flylady band wagon.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

Valli - does your XOH know about TUPE? Shouldn't be able to just lose his job like that within outsourcing. Shout if I can help, I am a TUPE nerd.
I have emptied and filled the DW. Cursed the cat who vomited hairballs on the clean washing. Put the WM on. Sliced banana bread into packed lunch portions for the freezer (so I don't eat it all in one go - an idea of sheer genious by Greenbee many months ago).
HHI next 15.30-16.00 anyone?'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Done a few more bits in the garden. Need to net the pond in a minute to try to prevent too many leaves from going in then onto baking/souping and ironing. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
