    Thanks hex :)

How about a 'can we make our 5 a day' challenge? I think I'm going to have to do my meal planning by ticking off the things I'm supposed to fit in and hoping it comes out with something edible...

    hello,

Loving the kitten/cat chat, I sooooo want one, we are pet less at the moment, but with baby imminent I didn't think it was such a good idea, soon though, soon!

Jojo I like those names, I love Sushi as a name!

I too need to work on my diet, I really don't eat enough of the good things you should eat, am going to be watching Hugh Fernly whats his face tonight as he seems to do fantastic things with veggies that make me really want to eat them. Thinking as soon as this baby is out, I need to have a life/body overhaul!!
  • Good morning :D

I am up, dressed, had breakfast. I did a little studying before I got up.

I need to put on the WM, plan this week's meals (with help of DS & DD2), make a shopping list & go food shopping. I must also get petrol, as DD2 gets all panicky when I get down to 1 'blob' on the petrol gauge :rotfl:(ever since we ran out of petrol in the fast lane :o - she says she is now mentally scarred!!) I also need to do more studying (piece of work to be submitted today ) and plan what we are doing tomorrow with 6 children (age range from nearly 2 to 16). Weather looks ok, so we may make dough hedgehogs & go to the park.
I also need to take the dog for a run. Ok - first job - go in search of laundry. Will catch up later :)
  • Good Morning All

I had a really lazy afternoon and evening yesterday and only did a tiny bit of flying so today I am back with the plan! I have actually managed to have a shower as internet said ok when stitches have been in for several days (they come out tomorrow) but fell out the bath while trying to get out! I slipped on the floor and nearly did the splits! Not terribly elegant! So had a little sit down to recover.

Right I am going to tackle the kitchen in my first 15 mins.... Will report back as this seems to keep me going.

Awwww thanks for the welcome back. Massive hugs back to you all especially to the lovely LL (and stop sending that fairy dust - I can only imagine that is why there is always dust in my house ).

I'm going to start the lists again tomorrow as I have noticed that whilst my house is tidy and mostly clutter free, the truth is that it could be cleaner!!!

For today i'm going to sort out the washing/dry clothes etc and hubby is going to gut the bathroom. See you all later xxx

ETA - Loads and loads of love and luck to Soappie xx

    Morning all,

Good luck vibes going to Soappie. x

    So far today i have

    Sorted rabbits
Tidied living room & dining room
    Took dry washing off airer
    Put wet washing on airer
    Wm x 2
    Sorted recycling
    Cleared drainer
    Washed up
    S&S kitchen
    Wiped table
    Made beds
    S&S Bathroom
    Emptied upstairs bins

I'm going to put another load on the airer and refill the wm. It looks like it's going to pour down so i'm not putting it on the line. The airer's are just outside the back door so when it does chuck it down i can just bring them in. Then i'm going to make lunch, clear up from that and take Ds2 to the castle (if it doesn't rain). Then i need to do the last of the weeding, clean out the rabbits and do the rest of the ironing.
  • Well, today, I have done - nothing.

Minion is on her laptop, splats are splatted out across my bedroom, and I intend to do nothing more exciting than plan where or what to have for dinner. I might drag Minion out to do a supermarket shop, but she will probably protest.

So, today's big question - do I cook something, or do we go to a local independent pub for Sunday Roast?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Evening everyone! It's half term so, of course, I have a delightful cold and cough :( Ah, well - it could be worse.

valli (and others in the area) - did you see my comment about being in Derby for a weekend soon? I may need some local knowledge please!!

Hope everyone is ok - love and hugs to all, especially Toots, L-L and LW xx

For MY half term I've gone down with D & V - yeuch!

Hence my absence from the thread - and the PC actually - yesterday my preferred position was horizontal with a bit of spoon-sorting to get done what HAD to be done. The Vallikids washed up etc though as I refuse to handle food when obviously contagious/infectious

so, apart from knowing Froddy will be up here I know nothing.

    JJTF - I vote pub

    Soappie
? can someone fill me in pretty please?

  • Hi all
I'm on a cleaning mission today. DS1 is home from the hospital. They moved him wards so I was able to go in any time I wanted an stay overnight too which was great but the house is a tip. DS1 had a 1cm x 2 inch piece of glass removed from his groin the main artery was on one side and te tubes to his manhood were on the other doesn't bear thinking about. He's doing well and even managed to chat the nurses up! Thanks for all the hugs and support x

I need to do the whole house today cause the nurse will be coming in to check dressings and visitors and stuff and I don't want anyone thinking I'm lazy;)

So far I have decluttered the kitchen, found the bunkers and wiped them, empted a cupboard and threw out all the rubbish. Washed the suite and stuck cushion covers in the machine, hoovered although I'll need to do it again as I've decided to change the livingroom around.

Off to do the dusting and more decluttering if anyone is daft enough to join me????????????????
