LW - make sure you leave plenty of time - more than you think you need, you can always get a coffee if you arrive very early, but then you can take your time and not feel rushed - it should help reduce some of the stress.

I have been to the old house and collected the post and loaded up the car with yet more bags but at least these are easier for me to carry than large boxes. Still in the car as I needed a sit down with a cup of tea when I got back. The house has such a long path that is on a slope that it really hurts my back going backwards and forwards. DD is back from Uni at the weekend so she can help as I really need to clear the house so that it can go on the market.

Have been to the GP and he took one look at the knee and said I need to be signed off for another week.... current certificate does not run out until next week. So more rest ...... so frustrating..... He said my knee could explode again as it is evidently full of fluid but it should be absorbed over the coming weeks. See what happens when stitches removed on Monday.

Still no info from hospital about Mum - they are having an MDT meeting today as the results from her tumour should be back by now. This info will dictate if they give her radio or chemo therapy or palliative care.

Right I will finish my tea and do HHT and get bags in from car at 6pm and see how far I get.

  • Got the bags in from the car:

    1 x bin bag
    10 x large blue Mr T bags
    1 x wooden box
    1 x light
    1 x pillow

    Also fed the cat

Time for more pain killers and another sit down before starting to sort it all out. I may not sort all the bags tonight but I will post how many I get done between rests.

Spooky was thinking of you today PenPen - I fancy a half term old flylady challenge thread. All us old birds having a good old catch up and getting beautifully sorted and ready before what can be the busiest 2 months of the year. So happy birthday to you and JJ too

Managed to get all the banking and bits of shopping done when I took DS2 to the orthodentist.

    Plan:
    Tidy up from dinner
Run bath for DS3 and 2
Watch Renovation nightmares whilst doing the next basket of ironing
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

Evening all, I have surfaced sort of. Still not well, after 4 weeks of this, had the ambulance car out last night as I had trouble breathing and was finding it extremely had to catch my breath.. It was a very bad asthma attack unfortunately, so after the nebuliser I was okay - well sort of okay. And I'm now on antibiotics for suspected pleurisy/bronchial infection frown.gif If it doesn't clear up by next tuesday I have to have a chest xray frown.gif I'm becoming quite close to my sofa at the moment as I have been sleeping on this for nearly two weeks now. Have tried upstairs but I end up choking or coughing, or not being able to breathe so back to the sofa I go.. :(

Sorry I have been missing in action, and sorry I haven't wished anyone happy birthday or congratulations etc.. I haven't read the thread back either so I apologise for that too.

I haven't done any flying either for a while, mainly cos it takes it out of me just to put the washing in the machine..lol. Although I did run the hoover around downstairs today, but that completely wiped me out for the whole of the afternoon. Spent most of it asleep...lol

Have had hardly any help from him either even though it takes it out of me just to cook the dinner, which I have been doing every night for him. Not that I have eaten much myself. Although I think last night scared him a wee bit. I don't think he realised how ill I was..

Just have to iron a shirt for DH for tomorrow..

Hugs and love to everyone, especially Toots and LL :)

Huge hugs Natty - hope you feel better soon.

Clothes sorted for the morning, and the bedroom that is currently being decorated hoovered with Henry to clear the bits of plaster. Loos S&S'd. DW emptied and re-filled.

Succumbed and put the heating on for an hour as was sitting on the floor doing jigsaws with Ollie and we were both shivering! Just an hour and we're warmed up now, he's watching a DVD, Jake is in his cot [STRIKE]screaming[/STRIKE] sleeping :j so I'm going to fold the washing...again. It never ends! I thought I was jealous of Pigpen's 11kg machine compared to my 5kg one, but this chucks out enough as it is!

Oh, no he's screaming again. He seems to have decided he doesn't need an afternoon sleep, but by 4 he'll be a grotbag. 15 months is definitely too early to give up his second nap, right? I know Ollie didn't for a long time yet. Le Sigh.

12Kg if you dont mind!!!! 12!!!!!!!!!

2 naps!!!!!! Squeak has only ever had one.. but it lasts 3 hours!! lol
