Succumbed and put the heating on for an hour as was sitting on the floor doing jigsaws with Ollie and we were both shivering! Just an hour and we're warmed up now, he's watching a DVD, Jake is in his cot [STRIKE]screaming[/STRIKE] sleeping :j so I'm going to fold the washing...again. It never ends! I thought I was jealous of Pigpen's 11kg machine compared to my 5kg one, but this chucks out enough as it is!
Oh, no he's screaming again. He seems to have decided he doesn't need an afternoon sleep, but by 4 he'll be a grotbag. 15 months is definitely too early to give up his second nap, right? I know Ollie didn't for a long time yet. Le Sigh. So, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy

Just had Minion's second Christmas present delivered. And promptly thrown into the cupboard under the stairs (no danger of her going in there, it's where the vacuum cleaner lives)
Two presents before mid December. And one just about ready to open its eyes this weekend. Minion has never seen a tiny kitten before, only ever something about 16 weeks is the youngest she has encountered. (I don't care it is coming just before Christmas, it - he, if I get the sexing right - is a Christmas present with an 18 - 22 year lifespan - more durable than a laptop!)
I am being so almost efficient, it's scary.
Yay me.

pea green with envy - last time I was in there it was to buy fabric for my off to uni duvet cover 20 years ago!
I have emptied the DW, put DW and WM on a cleaning wash, hoovered downstairs and then washed the filters. Not bad for a work day - will fill the DW once it has finished again.

Getting scared about the 16 mile round trip tomorrow, now. I haven't driven at all for several weeks, and not in anything approaching what you'd call real traffic for over a year...... and not on my own for about 4 years. *gulp*
Still, the bathroom's all clean and nice (just as well, didn't want the plumber to see it looking grotty when he comes at 09:00 tomorrow).:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Huge hugs for you Lamewolf - I hate driving. 100 hours of lessons, three tests, then 45k miles in a year for work and i still can't park.
Dinner is on, and the DW is now full. Cat chess around the wood burner hot spots is proving entertaining - v envious of the kitten JoJo I need pictures please.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
