*creeps in quietly*
A late entry for this week, after a horrible horrible last week. Didn't post as really down but been following you (that sounds creepy:cool:)
No job, no money, having to cancel practically everything cos I can't afford to go and/or no diesel in car. Kids on 2-week half-term so even harder to keep house in some sort of reasonable state.
So, with a forced smile...

Wooty-woo!! Pretty kitchen! I could fit five of my kitchen in there....
Still - not for long!!
Waiting on next ebay person...
Oooooh - dilemma. WHAT would you do??
I have listed my WM on ebay, perfect working order etc etc. However, this is Pigens fault really... I cleaned under is yesterday cos she told me to - and because when the buyer came to pick it up, I didnt want to die from embarrassment...
Anyway, when I moved it, I found part of a spring, and when I thought about it, over the last few days Ive noticed that its really noisy. (Normally the machine is on when Im at work, or Im upstairs bathing/bedding kiddywink).
Anyway, I have opened it up to have a look and there are two springs which attach to the top of the drum, one to either side of the washing machine -and one of those has snapped.
What do I do?? The listing hasnt finished, and I dont have time now to cancel the listing and start again. Neither do I have time to order a new spring and for it to get here before the listing ends.
Should I revise the listing now to say a spring has gone and I will pay for the cost of the replacement,or tell them when the listing ends and give them the cash back for the spring?

Jo I would not say anything, but would order the spring and then when the auction ends, email the buyer and let them know that you have ordered the replacement spring, just waiting on it getting here, but its been delayed, so will forward it on to them at your cost when it arrives. Although i suppose in hindsight you are best altering the listing to say spring needs replacing and has been ordered but part is delayed.

Good morning
I put the washing in the TD this morning, and that has now been folded. that's about it
i have been to toddler group this morning - they has a 90th birthday party!! (some of thoses toddlers are a bit old! You should see his mum! :rotfl:) Seriously, it is a man that has helped out there for years, so it was really sweet
i have LO casserole warming up for lunch (a lot of gravy, so more of a meaty soupyum! yum!)
Then I need to either crack on with the lists or do some studying. I need to go to the library, and not sure I can be bothered now
I may go in the morning after dropping off at playgroup, when I am already in the car, before I get warm & comfy. Ok - that's decidedLists it is - after lunch of course

SFW - i thought about that - as I would have just amended the listing to point out the fault and ordered the spring anyway... but the spring wont arrive until after I move. So they would need to have it delivered to them... which is why I havent just gone ahead and done that.
Its whether or not I add it to the listing now that this part will be required which I will organise it after the sale, or if I tell them when they have won... but that seems a bit unfair to them...? I dont know what to do.
Anyway, Im off to dismantle my empty wardrobe...Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

trying to clean when this pregnant is definitely not an easy task!
So I managed to:
hang out the dark washing,
hoover through kitchen, dining, living, and downstairs loo.
Tidy dining room, finally!
wipe dining room door, as cement seems to have appeared on it???
decobwebbed all of downstairs
Realised just how dirty my kitchen floor is, its black slate and everything seems to show, don't know how I'm going to get it off, think it might have to be a hands and knees with a stiff brush job!!! Can't say I'm looking forward to that right now.
Having a break with a coffee and some much needed food.

I would find a local shop selling spares ring them tell them the make/model and ask if hey have the bit in stock.. if they order one it wil take less time than you ordering it probably.. we have such a shop round the corner
Missy.. get 2 of those green scrubby things you do pans with..spray water/bleach/flash/whatever you use on the worst parts of the floor leave to soak for 5 minutes.. swish over with the mop and throw scrubby on the floo and rub it with your foot.. no bending involved and doesnt kill the floor!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
