It has been a good day today. Got a surprise in the post. Entered 60 competitions last month and have won 2 balls of wool and a knitting book (look out ebay for the book!) and got a letter to tell me i have won another comp and there will be a cheque in the post! I think that's anywhere between £20 and £50 so that will be getting put towards paying off the dreaded buy now pay later on my club which someone swore blind would be paid off by now (yet another promise down the pan:mad:)

But have recalculated the sig (which doesn't include the catalogue) to show the HB debt paid off! It got paid off just after christmas so its going down. Slowly but surely.

I really need to get my motivation to get the big debts reduced somehow. I need to check the PPI on the two loans and get the figures for the OD. So I think the first thing is to write to the finance companies and get breakdowns of everything!

But first we have the local elections on Thursday. FOH is standing as a candidate so we will see. If he gets elected he is gonna have to pull his weight financially. Shouldn't be too hard for him, he does eff all of anything else.

Right am off to bed. Am proper knacked so will see you all later.xx

Sounds all busy Bonsibabe. Sorry I haven't dropped by for a while, the immigration stuff has been keeping me busy :D.

I laughed and laughed when I thought of the wool as a prize - hey take it to a car booty! Brilliant news on the cheque though ;).

Good luck with the PPI - I was saying to skint - I'm gutted I never took it on anything:rotfl::rotfl:.
