I had to disassociate myself from someone before. You can only do it if you don't have any credit cards, overdrafts, bank accounts, mortgages etc in joint names. I wrote to equifax & experian and asked them to disassociate me from Mr ******* and that i had no financial connection to him at all. That was 10 years ago now though, not sure if things have changed. I bet if you go onto their website they will be able to tell you on there

I think your OH is lucky to have you and should be doing all he can 1) to help you bust this debt, 2) to keep you!
Keep at it hun

Thanks huni, hope all is going well for you, sorry to hear about DD2's accident, hope she is feeling a bit better soon. Am off tomorrow thanks to the strike action, had to take a day's flexi as manager didn't think it appropriate for me to take kids to work with me. Not that I had planned to do that anyway!
Just going off to bed, can't be a$$ed with FOH/WOS at the moment. He has just wound me up by saying he has something on tomorrow and can't take the kids cos its too important! The kids are supposed to be #1 all the time! Men!!!!
Take care xxxLBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Well I have today received my callcredit report and just like experian it has made me grrrrrr just a bit more. I got my ionic balance bracelet today to try and help me sleep better lol, this credit report will give me nightmares lol.
Not only have lloyds and intelligent finance got my default dates wrong, they have failed to note that payments are being made now via DCA's and have got completely the wrong figures for payments! So there are letters to be drafted this weekend to get the correct details and if they can't provide that then I will be going to the ombudsman!
FOH/WOS has offered £200 a month to pay for the buy now pay later balance that will be getting added to the catalogue today, and has further offered me £400 a month (initially for 6 months) in order to pay debts off! Now if that actually happens then it will be great but to be honest I'm not really believing it all. Will believe it when i have a wad of cash in my hand!
Will pop back later xLBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Gutted, proper gutted. found out I can't dissassociate myself financially from OH until all the debts are paid off. So not fair. But have the callcredit file and it has given me a heck of a lot more information than the experian one. Just got to wait for the equifax one to come in and then I can start posting the snippy letters off. So far we have the following gripes:
1 Default dates are incorrect.
2 Overdraft is listed twice making people think I have two overdraft debts (only have 1)
3 The two overdraft debts have different balances (which is the right one?)
4 I want my charges and interest refunded from the O/D debt to try and lower it to a more realistic level.
5 If Lloyds do not give me the info i request, they will be reported to the ombudsman!
And that is the plan today. I am at work, with a mountain of stuff to do, but if I gets it all done, then I can start looking at ways to shift these debts for the minimum amount. I mean they are seriously taking the michael with my credit file and they had better get it cleaned up!!!!!! or my foot will be kicking them swiftly somewhere tender!!!!!
Later all xxxxLBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Hi, I was flicking through diaries looking for inspiration the other day, and came across yours, you sound like you have your hands full.
I really liked the sound of your caper sauce, and have bought some capers this evening to have a go at making it tomorrow. Just realised that I don't have any tomato puree, so will pop out and get some in the morning. Thanks for the recipe.Light Bulb Moment: October 2011
