Do those pesky people at the train company know that Pearl Jam are playing in Manchester that day and that is why they are keeping the prices high?
Congratulations on being a size 12 you lil' fox you. I wish I had a smidgeon of your willpowerEmergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0 -
Oh I'm not a size 12, I have one size 12 dress
The pair of size 12 trousers I bought weeks ago still stubbornly refuse to fit :rotfl:
I put half a pound on at Fat Club, but I know why (chocolate and ice cream) so will rein it in again next week. Despite being out for dinner three times in the next week *rolls eyes*
Need to find some money from somewhere as little things keep popping up that I haven't budgeted for. It's time to rejig the finances again I think - time to print out all the direct debits and so on and see what I can do.0 -
Half a pound isn't worth worrying aboutBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Morning folks
I've been quiet recently as the Family Fresian are down this weekend so it's been quite busy in the house on the cleaning front, and yesterday was spent shopping with Mama Fresian. Knackering!
On the bright side, she brought me down a pre-loved Denby dinner set, so I can finally throw out the look-at-them-and-they-chip plates I bought from Whittards. I got a really good bargain yesterday - retro kitchen scales from Tesco for £4.26 which are really pretty and seem to measure accurately, making them 100% more effective than my Tesco Value onesSadly, I didn't realise how big they are, so they don't fit in any of the cupboards :rotfl: They're going to have to be out on display for the rest of time now!
I'm skinter than the skintest skint thing at the moment due to Bad Budgeting. I did manage to book my train tickets for Manchester at a very reasonable £36 return. I had no idea how I was going to pay for them until I got a well-timed email from Quidco telling me that they were sending me £42 :j Mama Fresian also bought £20 of cards from me yesterday, so I'll pay that into the bank as soon as I can. I've also requested £20 from Paypal this morning, leaving me just over £9 for impulsive internet shopping.
Just about to leave the house now, but when I return it will be time to parcel up Ebay things and wander up to the post office with them, trying to resist the reductions in Asda at the same time. A late night trip to Morrisons last night did net me two packs of crumpets for 15p each (very pleased to find out that they're Not Forbidden on the Fat Club website!) and a whole chicken with yummy stuffing for £1.20 which will be tonight's dinner. Woo!
Happy Sundays to all0 -
