Thanks Fairy - that made both of us gigge
Money
PAD/Spends - £95
Entertainment - £44.92
Car fund - £520 (topped up as received £5.19 interest but like a round number)
Groceries - £122.73
2nd purse - £18.16
Loan balance - £3893.74
Savings - £2800
Actual balance - £1093.74
VSP - £216.94
The VSP money is for the craftshow in two weeks time, although I don't plan on spending all of it.
The second purse system seems to be working well for me. We're well stocked with a number of things, and could probably manage on £15 per week for perishables until payday. That being said, I got a voucher for £5 off a £30 spend for Aldi to use this weekend, so will be taking advantage of it by buying loads of cat litter and adding some of their chicken to my freezer. I'll buy my bread, milk and fruit there this weekend too and try not to go over £31 in my initial shop. Last time they had this offer on I went round with a calculator0 -

I remember when things were really tough for me I used to go round with a calculator. One day I forgot it (no phone, couldn't afford it) so I wrote it all down. I only had £20 to get everything. When I got to the till I was 5p over. I had to put something back. I looked at all the stuff and it was all proper healthy food (little miss was 4 and I had to get stuff for her lunches etc). Just as I was choosing what to put back, the lady in the queue behind me gave the cashier the 5p (in a nice way, not in a frustrated "hurry up" kind of way!) and I burst into tears!:o:o How embarrassing! I thanked her loads and then ran out the shop! I'll never forget her kindness though.
Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
Mortgage today = £161,690.76

This is lovely, I hope you have had the chance to pay it forward yourself and make someone else's day:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Awww GAP, what a nice lady she was
I'm about to get in the shower but thought I would share some bingo info. I got a referral last night from a lovely MSE friend to a site - I deposited £10, got £20 bonus money and another £10 because she referred me, which was instantly withdrawable again. That makes it risk-freeI have now withdrawn £31 winnings this morning, which will make a lovely dent in my loan when it arrives!
If anyone wants the info then PM me0 -

Money
PAD/Spends - £43
Entertainment - £33.92
Groceries - £88.27
2nd purse - £13.53
Loan balance - £3888.74
Savings - £2800
Actual balance - £1088.74
There's also £14 in my normal purse and £6 of emergency money in my groceries purse. It's all in £2 coins, so if I don't need it this month they're going in the terramundi.
Funds have been reduced this weekend as I went to Costco and stocked up on binbags and accidentally bought a shoerack. It's something I've wanted for a while though as we live in a small flat and previously the first thing you saw when you walked in was piles of shoes. Now they're all neat
I also bought an accessories storage thingie from Aldi this weekend. I think it's meant to be for nails, screws and things of that sort, but it's perfect for charms, ribbon and lace
Plans for today include a lot of walking (to make up for the very tasty but naughty food I ate with Souk yesterday) and hopefully a NSD. I've already hit my target of 15 for the month, but would like to add on at least one more!

As often as I canI gave someone 10p on the bus once when they had no change, I give away day tickets on the bus when I am finished with them. There was a woman sitting begging in the snow last winter and I bought her a cup of tea. She wasn't young and it was so cold that she must have been hard up. I like to give back now that I am in a position to do so

The winnings arrived in my bank account tonight, so thanks so much again! I'm going to pay them to my loan tomorrow before the temptation to play more arrives, haha!0 -
Thanks also to another lovely MSE person who asked to be referred, I got my £10 referral bonus, played a bit with it and withdrew another £11 tonight
Mama Fresian's birthday present arrived yesterday - a full sized Doulton figurine for £30 thanks to the people I bought from with Daily Fail tokens last year. I got to pay the same price but without the pesky tokens :j
In other exciting news, Mr Fresian announced this morning that he has bought us tickets to go and see Rammstein in Newcastle. Tomorrow  So I'm going to be working until four then jumping in the car and driving to Newcastle, watching the gig and driving back to Scotland so I can be at work for eight on Thursday morning (although thankfully the boss has given me leeway to come in any time between eight and ten!) I thought he was mad this morning, but now I'm quite excited, although I'm going to be knackered by tomorrow night when we get back. We might not make it home until 2am depending on when the gig finishes
Nowt else to report really. Today was a spendy day as I was working in a different site and was concentrating on leaving the house on time so forgot to make a sandwich. In my defence, I normally have soup at work and have a drawer full of Fat Club stuff to eat, so it's not part of my routine to make food in the morning. I ended up buying a sandwich, diet coke and some water for the cinema after work (Went to see The Muppets which was brilliant and a lot better than I thought it would be)
Tomorrow I'm back on the budgeteering wagon - Mr Fresian has been told he will have to buy petrol as this trip wasn't budgeted for! I've filled the car, but if we need more tomorrow on the way home it's not coming from my purseI might end up buying a tour tshirt though
