Your cards are fantastic! Do you have a list of things the novice card maker should start out with? :o Think i need to try and squeeze a budget out of somewhere and scour eb*y for bargains to do this :) I haven't been too well lately but card making should be something i can do as i imagine it is nicely relaxing :)

A wee box of things is on its way to you - I forgot to enclose a card to say who it was from though. OOPS!

Lovely day had today with Souk. Lots of wandering round the shops and a lovely lunch to boot. I ate so much that I didn't need to have dinner :o I'm going to get up ten minutes early tomorrow to throw the chicken in the slow cooker that I was going to eat tonight :D

Flyin thank you so so much! :j:j:j Really made my day reading this :D *waits impatiently now postman* :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I should also say thank you for the list you posted up - i do read and have made a note of the things i need (just don't always reply if i'm not up to it :o). Am a bit short of cash at the moment though  But it is a priority and if some of my eb*y stuff sells i may divert the funds to getting stocked up ;)

Sounds like you had a fab day out with Souk :T Did you buy any new clothes? You have done so well with weight loss and are an inspiration. I had about 3 stone to lose - weighed myself yesterday though and had lost 9lbs - thats what being poorly does for you _pale_ So now i'm consciously trying to lose the next 2 stone and i'd be happy ish with that

Hope you have a good start to the week x

I hope you like it all! There's loads of papers and cards, some embellishments and some flowers. I would have sent more (I have a ridiculous amount of excess stash) but I ran out of space in the box :o

I didn't buy any clothes yesterday, and won't be until I lose the other stone I still have to lose. I'm currently in the "overweight" category of my BMI - I was "obese" when I started  Once I'm in a healthy weight range I can buy some new things to celebrate!

I might be waiting for that though as there's a plan afoot to pay off my loan. I'll try and remember to post about that later!

You really are very generous and a lovely person :)

I was going to ask about your target weight as i assume any of the weight loss programs kinda need a target weight so you know when you've hit it. Thats a great plan not buying stuff until you're at the right weight - a much better investment as things always look better when they fit properly rather than if they're too big if that makes sense :undecided

Loan paid off plans, loand paid off plans :j:j:j Can't wait to hear it :D

You have done so well on the weightloss and I am sure Souk will be giving you advice when you do buy new clothes :T:T:T:T:T

Ooh can't wait to hear details of your plan :D

Today I received £800 in my bank account. My friend and I had been saving to go on holiday, but she's got a credit card to repay, so we took out most of the money and split it - this is my half. This has now got me thinking about a wee plan and here's the rough workings....

    Current loan outstanding: £4,140.25
    Balance in ISA: £2800
Monthly payments for the rest of this year: £1291.32

That would leave £48.93 outstanding if it weren't for the pesky interest. I don't know how much that is every month, but if I can overpay say £50 per month (and we all know that with the Power Of PAD that anything is possible) then I could be clear of my five year loan by Christmas :D Bear in mind that I should also be due a small bonus in March.

Other things I might have to pay for:

Craft show in March: £6 for ticket and a reasonable amount of spends :o I have £193 in my VSP for crafty nonsense - this was to pay for a colouring course in March but I'm happy to give this up and just use the money for more stash.

Cinema pass: I'm getting differing answers from Cineworld about paying for this with a giftcard, and don't want to buy a £180 card that I then can't use for the Unlimited card. I think I'm going to pay for this with my savings and repay back to them at £15 per month, just for peace of mind.

Holiday in March (York): Paying for this with the two months off from council tax payments.

    Trip to Manchester (PEARL JAM...WOOOOOO!)
No idea how this is being covered. The hotel/concert are paid for, I just need to source cheap train tickets. I think that might be Ebay/bonus money.

Ok, People Of The Internet,....what have I forgotten?!

You've probably not forgetten anything - i take it you've budgetted for home insurance, car tax / service if applicable MOT and insurance ? Just trying to think of annual bills here  And i guess when you visit family you budget for this nearer to the time. Hopefully you've got everything covered and have an amazing plan in place :T
