    Third option for cinema pass:

Turns out I can buy Cineworld giftcards with an 8% discount, which means that a £180 card would cost me £165. I could buy this from my savings and replace the money at £15 per month.

You would only have to replace the money at £13.75 per month!
    Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
    Mortgage today = £161,690.76
    300 271 payments to go.
    House buyout fund £21,000/£40,000

    Morning all :)

Another half a pound lost at Fat Club last night, which is fine given that I've not been as good as I could have been. I need to be more focussed though which is why last night I got back from Fat Club and made a massive pot of minestrone soup :D I won't be having any today as I'm meeting a friend for lunch (bringing my own food though as we work near each other so we'll have a picnic in the canteen!) but it will last me well into next week!

Moneywise things are ticking over ok. I'm still skint, but it's only 8 days until payday and that looked a long way off last week :rotfl:

I think I am going to buy the Cineworld giftcard to pay for my pass as was suggested by all you lovely ladies. I don't know when my current pass expires, so won't buy it until then. No point in spending the money if I don't have to!

    Friday tomorrow :j
  • You are good - soup is only ever my last minute emergency lunch.... & often leads to a stop at the vending machine....but not this week. this week i have will power.....bet Will doesnt stay around long though!

Nothing to report, that's why! Work has been god-awful since I came back. There has been literally nothing for me to do so I ended up taking a days holiday yesterday to stem the boredom, hopefully it will be better on Monday.

I still have very little money so I've been living the quiet life, just pottering around the house playing computer games and making cards!

Tomorrow I have to try and buy enough food for the rest of the week with £12 (!!) and I'm hopefully catching up with Souk too.

Well i'm glad you and Souk were able to go out to play today ;) Is Kissjen ok?

What a shame about work. Are you looking elsewhere in the hope of more excitement or do the staff discounts make it worth plodding on for?

£12 for a week? You'd make that last a month if you had to!!! :D
One step at a time ;)
