    Morning all :D

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I had a very quiet and relaxing day. I only wandered out of the house once, to visit KissJenn in the hospital and apart from that just relaxed. My best friend visited in the evening (bringing lovely gifts!) and we had pizza with her and her boyfriend. I also received some birthday money from Mama Fresian which was spent today on TICKETS TO SEE PEARL JAM!!! I'm a little excited about that one ;) They're only playing one UK date next year, so I'm thrilled to have got them. I'm now going to be saving up for a while as the gig is in Manchester and I'm going to have to pay for travel, food and a hotel.

It's payday today, and I've received my Christmas savings from work too. We can pay some of our salary into a savings scheme, paid in December, each month. I did it this year, but next year I'm using the money to buy extra holidays ;)

    Current money situation is:

    PAD/Spends - £105
    Entertainment - £50
    Groceries - £200
Christmas - £30 (eek! Still have presents to buy!)
ISA - £2000 thanks to my work saving scheme I was able to top this up this morning
    Crafty savings - £185.01

I also paid over £70 into my loan this morning, so that should be looking healthy too. I'm going to get a statement for it when I go to the bank later.

It's going to be a LONG month this month - 35 days until my next payday. I'm pleased that my ISA is looking healthy though as that's going to be my fund for sales shopping (don't worry, I'm not going to spend it all :D)

Today I'm meeting Souk for lunch and am going to get some shopping done this morning too. I also need to run to Aldi and use the latest £5 off £30 voucher I bought for there. Busy morning ahead!

    Morning :)

I went to Aldi yesterday and spent £28 once the coupon was deducted, which I'm really pleased with. My plan at the moment is to start a store in the kitchen which has lots of tinned goods etc in it that I can use as a wee pantry, hopefully spending less money in January because I have a lot of supplies already.

Lunch with Souk was good fun, and we even braved town for a bit of shopping too, although that didn't last too long!

Today we're off to the Frozen North for the day, possibly overnight depending on weather, to have lunch with Mr F's family. It should be good fun. Hoping we don't have to open the presents today in front of everyone as ours are just little token gifts for everyone whereas Mr F's brother and dad are both quite well off. Better go and get ready - we leave in less than an hour ;)

    Morning!

Lovely time was had by all yesterday - we had a full Christmas dinner as Mr F's brother won't be in the UK for Christmas so it was a full family celebration. We've come back with lots of presents for Christmas Day too ;)

    Money

PAD/Spends - £132 (topped up with birthday money)
    Entertainment - £38
    Groceries - £168.92
    Christmas - £10.50

They have finally fixed the issue with online banking that meant I couldn't see my loan balance, and it's now sitting at £4259.53. I have paid off nearly £600 this month including my normal monthly payment :j I won't be able to do that every month, but now that I can see it on online banking again it's going to be an incentive to PAD to that account as often as possible. I have £2000 in my ISA at the moment too, so that means, if I include that money, I'm halfway to paying it off :D

I think that all my Christmas shopping is now done....hopefully anyway! I need to wrap up a load of stuff later on, and then the rest of the day is going to be spent relaxing - hopefully a NSD too!

Oh the wrapping isn't finished, don't worry! I wrapped up stuff for Mr F's sister yesterday as she was coming over, but I still have stuff to do ;)
