    Hi all,
    Hope all is well.
Went to get some shelves this morning as managed to persuade DH to put some up in the office/craft room,so I've been happily rearranging and I hope I can now spend time actually doing stuff instead of looking for everything all the time.:j
I've also got 2 bags ready for charity collection tomorrow, and tidied the under the stairs cupboard so not done too bad today.Dh has given the kitchen a good clean while I was tidying so I'm going to relax with the telly tonight.Had an awful nights sleep last night, kept dropping off watching Match of the Day(I like football :D) but couldnt sleep once I got to bed  so I keep yawning.
Anyway, will go & claim my place on the sofa before DS gets it:rotfl:Enjoy your evening xx

First time on here but been reading it for some time and really enjoy it.

I have been to work today 6-2 my usual Sunday shift and it was really cold, damp and dark when I went out, it rained whilst I was having my break but was lovely and sunny by the time I was driving home!! Not done much else today, had a HM chilli out of the freezer for my dinner and then promptly fell asleep on the settee (was my 3rd early in a row) so now woken up and feel ready for bed!! last shift tomorrow and then off for a couple of days.

Off to make another cup of coffee then have a shower, phone DD1 and bed.

Many thanks for all your help and pm's re crocheting - have checked youtube but just cant get the hang of it!!! Think perseverance will have to be the key. I can do a basic chain and work backwards and forwards but thats as much as I can do! Dont even know what that is called. Its been so long since I have learnt any new crafting skills but I will master this!!!
Watch this space! I will post a photo of my first accomplished task - might be a while though!

Evening all, I'm getting later and later with posting , Well following on from yesterday my little lodger is still here. His mum came round and we left them to it in the lounge she asked me to join them after about half an hour , she is terrified of her hubby but doesnt feel strong enough to leave him.I can understand where she is coming from , but he is her boy. He pleaded with her to leave him , it broke my heart to watch them . It ended with her begging me to look after him for a while, how could I refuse . He confided in ds3 last night once they had gone to bed that his mum gets beaten by his dad, and that this was not the first time he has been hit by him either:mad::mad::mad:. My boy wanted to go round to the excuse of a father with our Rottie and give him a piece of his mind.I promised her that I would have him at mine until things were sorted, poor boy is so upset that she wouldnt leave him there and then, its going to be hard for them both until this is resolved. The police were back today and have told him that he has been charged with assault .Hope the pig goes down for it:mad::mad:
Anyhow , so dinner was late this afternoon, it was quite a somber affair and nobody really felt like eating to be honest, hope thats not a reflection on my cooking skills;)
For all those wanting Kindles , I bought ds1 one for his birthday in July and both him and I love it.I'm hoping that the kids club together and buy me one for Christmas;).
No OS done whatsoever today:eek::eek::o. Never mind there is always tomorrow;). Hope everyone had nice , peaceful Sundays:)

Will post some before and after photos on FB soon, hope you are well xx

Went to the boot sale with OH this afternoon, we bought a camera for £1, listed it on ebay tonight and have just been offered £50 for it :D:T:j, will let the auction run though as we think it may go for more.
Also listed 5 other things on ebay, so we will hopefully have enough for a new computer for dd soon.

    Have good evenings all xx
