Sweet Mother of God. Get a life.
You have to be careful, they look a bit trashy. (The neighbours, not the pants.)
Besides, they might be Primark pants and people might think they belong to the OP."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
My Aunt had a similar thing happen where she lived. Four flats shared the garden, one flat had new people move in and every item that they put out in the garden had in bold lettering "PROPERTY OF FLAT X" written/painted on it. It turns out where they had lived before everything was stolen by the neighbours so they didn't want it to happen again.0

I sneakily used a line that was outside my holiday apartments to peg our smalls on when on holiday - it wasn't on our patch but it was Greece and hey, I was sure no-one would mind. Mind you, when I saw them peg an octopus onto it to dry ready for BBQ I wished I hadn't used their pegs! You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0

Nip it in the bud. Take a knife to his clothes and shred them. Then in the shreds write in yellow paint IT'LL BE YOU NEXT TIME.
Alternatively, introduce yourself to him, explain the situation nicely and get a life.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Get a sharp knife and slaughter the b'stard. Or see below. As said he may well not know. No point going in there guns blazing just be polite and remind them of the fact its yours. It always better to get on with neighbours maybe suggest to them you dont mind as long as they ask first and you not using it once in a while, if not then just remind them its yours. Good neighbours are always worth keeping, bad neighbours can make peoples life's hell.
Exactly. Assume he thought it was communal, and explain politely that it was yours, and with luck he will be embarrassed, and will apologise. If he gets aggressive, or unpleasant, well you tried, and you probably do not want to know him. There is not much you can do if he is unpleasant, except take the line down when not in use.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0
