Ok, i've got a rotary line out the back, i live in a private housing complex and we have a communal garden with patches of it belonging to certain flats.
Now, i noticed him doing it, he was putting the last item up, didnt say anything then, just in case he got hostile.
Now, since they moved in i've been suspect of them, they just seem a bit trashy.
Its my line, i paid for it...now im waiting for him to come back and get his clothes (making sure he doesnt take my rotary line with him) and then im gonna go get it and bring it inside.
Thats the best thing to do right?
The CHEEK of some people.
He may have thought its a communal one, but somehow i doubt it.

Options are:
1) Talk to him and explain
2) Store the line inside your property and just take it out when you want to hang your washing
If you don't feel comfortable with the first option then yep, I'd agree re bringing it in.
I would give him the benefit of the doubt though - maybe he's a tennant or even if he does own his place he probably hasn't read the bit about parts of the grounds belonging to individual properties. He may well just think it's a communal facility. Are there lots of different lines up? If so, that should have been a clue for him.0 -
Hi,
he maybe doesn't know which patch is his or hasn't got a dryer yet, though he could've asked first.
Just let him know, politely.0 -
as long as he doent take it with him, and he isnt using it when you want to use it.
whats the problem??????????credit card bill. £0.00
overdraft £0.00
Help from the state £0.000 -
If it were me, I would assume they were communal airers.
How are people meant to know if they're not told??Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
As said he may well not know. No point going in there guns blazing just be polite and remind them of the fact its yours. It always better to get on with neighbours maybe suggest to them you dont mind as long as they ask first and you not using it once in a while, if not then just remind them its yours. Good neighbours are always worth keeping, bad neighbours can make peoples life's hell.0

No other lines up, and mine is central..
Well, as is said by the person below you, he should of asked.
If he doesnt know who to ask, then he shouldnt use it, even if he suspects that its a communal one.
Well, it doesnt matter anyway does it, it's coming in and he'll never use it again.0 -
If it's described to him as a communal space, and your line is WITHIN the communal space, how is he to know it's yours? Unless you tell him.
Who's supposed to have told him, if at all?0 -
Im considering what you said, if i just left it outside...yeah, maybe..
But, what if he knows its mine, im gonna look like a right joke.0 -
Struth. He's only pegging his pants on your line. Why are people so territorial and petty minded nowadays. Cut the guy some slack.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Does it matter? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0
