That aside, the fact is that it was deemed appropriate then for all the Boots deals to be posted seperately to help newbies and those who didn't want to read the whole thread.

What has changed that makes it now appropriate to shove all the Tesco deals together?

It was a private forum and entry was by invitation only. I no longer have my log in details so can't really help, sorry. FWIW I don't think the regulars really kept up with posting there.

and i actually agree with SirBrainy here..... both mine and his/hers posts have been removed... just for saying the same as what others are saying..... i was very polite.. but still got reomved.... rathe3r annoying when im only trying to voice my opinion...

I used to know exactly what thread I was on, now I look up the page, and sometimes I'm viewing a forum that I never even knew existed?!

It took me a long long time to find out how to use the boards and threads on MSE.

I had my bookmarks, I had my subscriptions to threads. So many are closed, so many shifted, so many replaced by new threads, even when their old counterparts are still working/being read/updated.

Like other users, I seriously thought that gitches were becoming few and far between.

People don't know where to post. Or they post the same item on several threads, hoping all will see the information, but that means extra work to trawl through them.

All this movemnt of posts/deletions/threads going, Its a bit like hurricane irene..... but without any forewarning...... just the devastation following.....as the users try to pick their way through the pieces.
