these items aren't misprices or DTD items so don't fit into that category, they are just the reduced to clear items which up until now have had lots of individual threads.

I am sure you have good intentions Redfox but I think that people will still post individual Tesco threads. This thread will probably just disappear.

thankyou for your good intentions, but i think i would prefer the individual items all on seperate threads then you can have a quick scan at the main board and look at the items that take your fancy..... its just with one long thread, it would take you forever (if/once it gets going) to read through everything from the first post to the last. xx:cool:

OP is a board guide so would be doing the merging.

I think it's a good idea BUT i struggle with these huge threads as people inevitably talk for pages and pages about their deals and where they found them so it is too hard to find them. Individual threads are better because if an item is popular/current it is usually on the front page.

I guess people just don't like change. As a new user, though, I think it's a good idea as it keeps them all in one place, and as long as the irrelevant chatter can be kept to a minimum (which I'm sure it can somehow) it will be an excellent thread.

I just skimmed through the previous one linked to up there and it seemed very good and useful.

please can we keep the tesco deals as seperate threads?

it takes 30 seconds to scan through the first couple of pages of the grabbit board.

but it will take much longer to scan through a few pages of this thread.

that's just my opinion....would be interesting to see what the general consensus is.

op, could you add a poll/vote thingamajig to this thread? think it would be the best option.

The misprices and discussion was intended for use only for DTD, the misprice was a reference to things being underpriced on the SEL which meant you got back DTD. It is only recently that people have started posting glitches and reduced prices on there.

Perhaps we should have threads for:

Tesco food mega reductions;
Tesco toys mega reductions; (which we already have)
Tesco electricals mega reductions; (which we already have)
Tesco glitches; (only for multibuy glitches, such as, the battery glitch, custards glitch, choc orange glitch)
Tesco DTD thread;

But the only way this would work is if they are stickes as when they would fall to page 2 people would start posting separate threads again.

or we could leave it as it is and just enjoy the bargains wherever they are posted

I think with so many deals/sales/glitches in tesco, some sort of structure would be helpful.
