Can I sue HA for noise from neighbours?

It wasn't a criticism. Scary, when there's no protection and there's obviously nothing being done. I'd be ringing the police next time I heard something like that.
May have started with a letter to make a visit or a visit when they were out. Will soon see.Hopefully something will be done soon!If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -

I do have a secure tenancy yes, but the only other places they have are flats. One is not suitable as it is a one bedroom and the others I wouldn't put a dog in. The areas they are in are even worse than what I'm in now. They're saving their houses for the disabled, families and elderly so I won't get a look-in there.
I've already enquired with other local authorities and it's pretty much the same situation. So I'm looking at renting privately or maybe buy to rent optionsHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Could you not get them to make them habitable tho before you moved in?
Id think it would be perfectly acceptable to do? then maybe consider a home swap in other LAs from there? or go from that flat to shared ownership options?
might be more secure? dont reckon the rented sector is all that great unless you drop very lucky with a good LL. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Can I sue my husband for leaving wet towels on the floor? Because THAT certainly affects my stress levels. Honestly...... (rolls eyes)0

No idea. Why don't you start your own thread, as I see no relevance of what you have asked to the situation I have been talking about.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

HI Lynz, It's not just what the LA has to offer, it's also the area which is crime ridden - my insurance is even more than I thought it would be now at some addresses. I've also been on Homeswap for over a year and there is nothing suitable.
I'm just going to go private. I've really had enough of my neighbours - it's not just the noise issue with those 'downstairs' - I've got to put up with 2 barking dogs all day and night, a cat that starts off at 4 AM no matter how I try to get rid of it (the owner two doors down doesn't care and neither does the RSPCA), a mentally ill alcoholic down the road who likes shouting abuse at me outside my house (yeah, the police know him very well) amongst others. There is no way I am going back into LA housing.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. My point was about the greedy society we have become - if something doesn't go our way and there is someone to blame, we assume we can just sue them for it! It's ridiculous! Your neighbours have as much right to live in their home as you do, and you want to sue someone because they happen to be noisy and it causes you stress. Rather than looking for someone to blame (and sue), why not find a practical solution.0
