Best Laptop for £350 please

Not sure what your problem is with nit picking other people's posts, but hope you get over it one day
Nit-picking? That is a glaring error.
You should be suitably embarrassed for posting without checking. Is there a good value laptop there or not?
It's not all about you. Other people may read and take your word for it.0 -
What glaring error?
The post says they have £200 off and they have, nowhere does it say they must go there and they must buy one
So if they read it no need to take my word for it cos it exists
As it is mainly going to be used for browsing and watching videos may as well look for the cheapest option0 -

Sorry, but you simply aren't making any sense.
Currys claim, disingenuously in my opinion, that an item that is currently worth £380 or less and that is selling for £380, has £200 off. You think that it is worth advertising on this forum?
Is that the position that you are defending?
I am of the opinion that this website is dedicated to saving consumers money, not diverting them to marketing 'tricks'.
So I don't have a problem with illustrating the pitfalls of the Currys marketing ploy. If you have a problem with it, then perhaps you should apply for a job with the Dixons Group and refrain from posting links to their 'bargains' here.
As for the "cheapest option"...what is your suggestion? Something from Currys?0 -
Have it your way, maybe you should contact these and say you disagree with their opinion

Maybe you should sort your own life out first without making suggestions for other peoples0 -

Erm....I fail to see what the link that you have produced, has to do with your Currys recommendation. Can you explain?
Are you having a bad day today?0 -
The link is to oe of the laptops Currys have included in their reductions, and is at variance with you saying their offer is a load of rubbish
Apologies for keeping you away from chanting mirror mirror on the wall in the bathroom
The Jelly Beans are on their way0 -

Are you ok?
Apart from it not being a link to the machine that they are selling, it's not even a good review. Plus the review is more than a year old.
From the review:
Against

Dodgy sound from speakers
>
Noisy fan
>
Semi-irritating touchpad
>
USB ports at the back of chassis
>
Battery a little disappointing
I'm not 'getting you' today. What has occurred? Has one of your younger siblings hijacked your PC?
I'm saying that is was never worth £580 in June of this year, so selling it at £380 and claiming £200 off is just a joke.0 -
As to the Fujitsu that I have recommended, it is £80 cheaper than the DELL, and has a better specification.
Review from the same website and no silly claims of hundreds of £s off.0 -
when i bought my amazing 3820tz pc world/currys had a £ 200 laptop for sale
every year i get £350 ish to buy a laptop to keep from my company
which after a year i give away to family or friends..
i would have no problems using a £ 200 one you can talk about them untill you are blue in the face
but at the end of the day the " average joe " short for joe or josephine, i love that saying by the way,
is not that bothered for what most people use them for any wil do lol tatty bye karl.............0 -
