I know this is no doubt the stupidest question ever but how to I top the thing up?
I got one today, activated it etc and thought it would have a 'reload' part in my account. But there's not. So how do I reload it online?
I've spent the last hour looking, and whilst I realise I'm probably not seeing for looking, or missing the obvious. But Can someone let me know how I top it up online?
Thanks.

You cant top up online. You can do a bank transfer via your own internet banking.
As I said, do it by phone. Money is in account in 5 mins0 -

Thanks. Was hoping to do it online save calling the UK from US, but hay ho. I'll be getting a payg sim whilst out there so I'll just use that to call.0 -

Only number on the back is
+44 (0) 20 3285 7085
You can do it online via Bank Transfer, but it takes longer to credit. Here
Whilst in the US, you can try this Freephone number: 1 800 221 2426 . Perhaps run a test before you leave.0 -
If you are calling the UK from US you could maybe download http://www.fring.com/fringout. Only 1 cent per minute0

and who pays for the DATA costs? Mightn't they far outweigh the cost of normal calling?
How much data does fring consume?
There is no exact consumption that we can provide since it varies from one device to another.
These are the basic estimated numbers:
1. Connectivity - 10-15 KB per hour
2. Chat – up to 15 KB for 200 characters
3. Calls – ~8-10 MB per hour
4. Video calls – ~1 MB per minute0 -
lots of places have "Free Wifi" so it may be the coffee shop or whatever who pays. Its an option, thats all.0
