I havent posted in my diary for ages and lots changed this is where I am now

life: I got married on june 6th the wedding was amazing and cost just £1900 all in I could have used that money for my debts yes but it was our only chance to do this and i now have the same name as my sprogs:) We cant afford a honeymoon/holiday :(

DH: won his appeal for ESA but it appears that they are crap at giving money back - but good at taking it away - he's been waiting 4 weeks now and has no income £180 in the bank and is due around £1000 in backpay

Work: not waitressing much now, my main job has paid for me to do a masters degree which is brilliant but very hard work and very time consuming

    Debt: CRAP £473 capital1, £2500 barclays, £100 next, £160 very, £8000 loan, £2390 sant. cc, £560 mint, £190 barclaycard

until DH gets his money i am covering everything so cc debt has increased slightly my loan payment is consistent £255 so its still going down overall but poor!

  • Congratulations on getting married  and great news about the degree.

Don't get too disheartened about the debts, sometimes life just gets in the way. I'm sure they haven't increased as much as they would have pre LBM, so that in itself is a positive

    hi
shattered today! been working shifts in restaurant to make extra money as really poor this month but its taking its toll, I worked all day and night yesterday and working tonight too its good as it helps pay the bills but I only saw the kids for 2 hrs yesterday and feel proper crap today.

OH finally got his ESA backpay this week and it looks like he is going to get his weekly payment back as they have put him back in his support group :o we'll know wednesday

Its my sisters b'day on Tuesday and have used my restaurant shift to get her a meal voucher so no costly presents this year. pre LBM last yr I spent £140 on her!

Managed to pay over £500 off debt this month

DH only recieved £500 backpay! and his payments are stopped as of April - he won't claim JSA as he is ill - he is very low with his depression now - keeping an eye on him.

We are very restricted now with money - I will be back to paying off little payments until my fixed morgage rate finishes in February - I fixed my mortgage before the economic problems so while everyone else has been on 1.4% Im on 5.9% gutted

The only area I can see where we can save is on at the moment is food so thats being experimented with

I am looking forward to my loan finishing in 2015 I have this many payments left:rotfl::cool::D:p:j:mad::o;):T:):A:rotfl::(:D:p:j:mad:;):o:eek::T:):(:rotfl::cool::o;):p:j:D:cool::):T:eek:
