Then why don't we both take the moral highground and stop arguing. I'm more than happy to debate the finer points of 5xsalary mortgages and LTV values, IO mortgages and the like, but I have to admit I am tired of the tit for tat bickering. So what do you say, geneer. Are we the 'bigger man'. Here is my hand, held out and waiting..........

    Don't be such a wuss. :o

Not really. I'm calling geneer's bluff. I'm assuming that he will wriggle out of it and refuse to bury the hatchet. This is his decision but then he can no longer play the victim. I'll bring this up every time he tries.

If he does decide to bury the hatchet, then I reckon it'll last 5 mins before he's posting some sort of snide comment. Again, he can't play the victim.

If he does bury the hatchet and keeps to the bargain then that's great.

There is no downside for me here as far as I can see.

Yet again you talk the talk without really walking the walk.
What a curious poster you are.

You're the one walking the walk geneer. I'm happy to call and truce and stick to it, you're the one who doesn't seem to want to despite all your posturing to the contrary.

    So... yes or no?

What posturing would that be exactly.

Don't be daft RM. Since I saw the error of my ways, I've found its much more compelling to watch you all degenerate the discussions with little or no contribution from myself.

    So a truce you say?
You may consider us to be at war. I on the other hand just think of you as someone I don't particularly agree with on an internet forum.

Good, we're now getting to the nub of the thing. :)

Leaving the school yard for just one sec, just what exactly don't you agree with?

As you won't actually find me in your metaphorical school yard, thats probably a good plan.

As to what I can only guess you imagine to be a cunning question, I'll let you know as and when it comes up. As most normal posters are prone to do.

PS I note you were unable to provide any evidence of "all my posturing".
In fact you rather seem to have glossed over that one. Interesting.

I didn't see you ask, but you're posturing now. You're also doing your usual wriggling on a hook. It might frustrate others but I find it amusing, especially because it indicates that I'm winning the discussion when you resort to it. :rotfl::rotfl:

    Mr geneer.

Yes. You certainly appear to be winning the argument of who's the most mature poster RM.

There's more than one facade crumbing since I elected to change my posting style.

Oh and still no real examples of my claimed "posturing" I see.
