Red spotted hanky - has everyone had their 500 points???
Options
I registered on Red Spotted Hanky yesterday pretty soon after 12 when the Moneysavingexpert site said there were still plenty of vouchers available. My account hasn't been credited yet wtih the points. Should it have been? There was nothing at all about the 500 points on the redspottedhanky site when I signed in which made me think I'd done something wrong!

Hi JennyP. I got an email this afternoon confirming my registration, but I don't seem to have the loyalty points. The original info on MSE about the deal said something about 72 hours, so it may be that they'll appear in a couple of days if we keep checking. Having said that, I had no success even getting on to the RSH site until about 3.30 so I may just have missed the boat, but it soundsLife is mainly froth and bubble

For some reason my post got posted mid-sentence - I was going to say it sounds as if you were very quick off the mark and should be OK?Life is mainly froth and bubble

I booked some tickets last week and East Coast were cheaper than RSH, so still do some price comparison before committing to RSH.0

When they did this in August my application went in after it had been announced they'd all gone and getting on the site with great difficulty and I was uncertain whether it had been successful or not.
Nevertheless they turned up in my account a day or two later - it's certainly not an instantaneous or same day thing.0 -
When you fill in the form, you won't see a page confirming the deal. But if you click loyalty/account in the top right hand corner, it should then say 'welcome jenny' (or your name!).
This means you've signed up and within four days will credit £5 to your account within 4 days, displayed as 500 loyalty points. It should appear under 'e-voucher' details.0 -
Thank you! I didn't realise that.
Just made my first booking with them anyway. Bargain. £24 return from Halifax to London on trains at really convenient times. I know it was £24 on thetrainline too - which I usually use - but they charge a £1 booking fee and there's no loyalty points so it was a no-brainer!0 -

RedSpottedHanky will always be able to offer the lowest fares available in the national booking system. However, some train operators do discount even more their own tickets on their own websites only (even advance ones), East Coast is one of them I think.
RedSpottedHanky will always be cheaper than TheTrainline, it will be the same fare but Trainline charge a £1 booking fee for each booking. They also charge if you are paying by credit card. RedSpottedhanky charge neither.0 -
I joined them on Wednesday under the £5 offer and still not got mine so i would think by Sunday we should start to see them.0
