I ordered a double electric blanket for instore collection which had an online exclusive price.

I ordered two as I wanted it to have the 'Total Sleep Safety System to automatically shut off the blanket if it became too hot'. It mentioned this in the details of the dearer £13 one but not the £10 so I requested both to inspect, on collection.

When I went to collect they told me that although they were listed as doubles, one of them was in fact a single one. I'm sure they said that the double one was the cheapest too (£10). I explained that I only wanted a double one but was after the one with the safety cut-off if it got too hot and it only mentioned it on the £13 one. She said the products were identical except for the size of them.

I got the double one and offered up my £10 voucher - upon which she then said it actually scanned at £13. (Not sure if I'm just being over-suspicious about it but was sure she'd told me the smaller one was dearer earlier).

Getting home I discovered a 'security label' on the package stating due to health & safety the item could not be returned once opened unless faulty. I needed to open it to check about the safety cut-off though as it wasn't mentioned on the package. I had to take it out fully to find the instruction booklet inside, which doesn't mention the safety cut-off feature at all.

Anyone know where I stand on this if I wanted to return it? The £13 online description definitely quotes the cut-off feature but it looks like I was given the £10 model but charged £13 for it?
  • I ordered for instore pick up but didnt receive any vouchers and still havent via email

I contacted customer services, they asked for details from the receipt, then said their voucher team would be in touch
  • I ordered a camera online in October and still have not got my voucher. I emailed customer services and just had a call back. They tried to tell me that the offer had now expired so I told them I placed the order on 24th October BEFORE it expired.

Then they told me I had to fill out a form on the terms and conditions page to apply for my voucher. I said I didn't see any information about that, I clicked the link for more infomation about the voucher off and it took me to a page of qualifying products. The camera I order did qualify for the offer. The webpage just said the voucher would be emailed to me and it was not obvious that I had to do anything else to claim it.

After some agruging he said he would email the relevant department and phone me when he got a reply.

I'm not holding out much hope, I feel like I've been scammed.

  • Hi Folks,

I bought a £4.99 hand blender for collection in store on the 13th October (when the promo ticket was still showing on the hand blender), collected it that day but didn't receive a voucher at the till. I didn't actually expect one as I was under the impression it would be emailed on the 10th Nov.

However, when I realised other people were receiving their vouchers at the till I emailed CS (before the end of the promotion) to ask if the promotion would be honoured. After a few emails back and forth I was offered £10 voucher plus an extra £5 for my time.

So far I've received an evoucher for £10 but not the extra £5 but I'm not giving up yet. I've just emailed them again asking where my £5 is and I'll wait and see what happens......
  • I too ordered online for store collection and didnt recieve the voucher. This is the reply Ive recieved from customer services, I even sent a screenshot and all receipts etc.

    Dear Sir/Madam

    Thank you for your e-mail

On checking the details of your item that you collected from the store, I can see that this item does not entitle you to a £10 voucher.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

    Kind regards
