No sound on computer

I have downloaded that and the other one restarted pc and still nothing0 -
Have you installed the Chipset Driver? Do that one first. Then the Audio Driver.0

it installed into my documents when I double click i get invitation to run and then it goes to 7 Zip self extracting archive then nothing0

Thank you for all your help Take This I got there in the end - a bit of a steep learning curve. I am used to the easy download click and the programme installs automatically.
Thanks for your patience I now have sound (I am using earphones).
I threw the speakers out because I thought they did not work and with hindsight I think maybe they did still work.
