Have you installed the Chipset Driver? Do that one first. Then the Audio Driver.

it installed into my documents when I double click i get invitation to run and then it goes to 7 Zip self extracting archive then nothing

Find the folder(within My Documents) to which the files have been extracted. Once you have found it, double click on the setup.exe.

Thank you for all your help Take This I got there in the end - a bit of a steep learning curve. I am used to the easy download click and the programme installs automatically.

Thanks for your patience I now have sound (I am using earphones).

I threw the speakers out because I thought they did not work and with hindsight I think maybe they did still work.

Kids hey who'd have em???
