  • just back from tesco banbu*y and its a nightmare. they are puttting stuff on £1 rails "slowly". the ladys doing the womens clothes were scanning what they fancyed and saying oh i'll that that , and on the mens picking out who they will give what to for xmas. the lady doing the kids said she didnt really understand what she was doing and is having to scan one thing at a time to see if its reduced. even after a horrible wait eating a bacon roll in the cafe they had not moved much further forward. i asked about the pj's and one snapped that they are working there way though as fast as they can and i should come back later !!!. so i got one top for £1 for me and nothing else. would have been a waste if i had not been charged 69p to much on my gum and got dtd lol

I disagree. If you are working in tesco you are probably working for round about minumum wage. I'm sure most of the workers have families too, and like getting a bargain as much as the rest of us.

Lets face it, very few of us actually really NEED more clothes. We just want them!

I know for a fact they do not work for min wage. I am an ex tesco employee.

  • I've just spoken to the ladies in the clothing department in Sl0ugh who say that they will be moving stuff this afternoon but it definately doesn't start until tomorrow and it will be all the clothes that already have reductions. . .
  • Not forgetting they also get staff discount and company shares, tesco employees don't have it as bad as some make out.

  • Does anybody know what time tomorrow? Is it likely to be midnight or 2am or more along the lines of 10am?

I also disagree, if you are saying its not 'fair' they get in there first. What about all of us on here seeking out the bargains. Are we not by your method equally not being 'fair' to the many that don't spend time searching for the deal?
  • Not sure if this has been posted but Tesco are opening a special 'pound shop' on their clothing dept. It goes live on the till system at 2am Friday morning and there are lots of bargains to be had but its only till the 23rd Oct so grab the bargains while you can!

Missed it at my local store, staff said clothing was being bought by the trolley load.
  • One of the mums at the school gates told me about this so might drag my ds out of bed slightly early so i can head in before i drop him off then after i have dropped him off i may head to the other store fingers crossed i can get quite a few things for my boy as he is such a mucky pup and keeps taking growth spurts.
