I've lived in really old houses my whole life, never saw anything supernatural, although they made alot of noise at night, this is because of the nature of old houses.
However, one room I lived in, as soon as I got there, was really cold compared to the rest of the house, I never felt comfortable there, or slept well.
Then I found out the window had a pane missing, piece of glass replaced and everything was nice and warm again

As for that picture, I suspect if you leave it open long enough something leaps out at you. Personally, I didn't, but moved on smartly.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

I know what you mean about sensing something. It's HORRIBLE. We went on holiday for a week to an old stone cottage and the minute we arrived I sensed unhappiness in the house and that something bad had happened there. Now usually, I don't believe in ghosts/all that claptrap etc, but I was uncomfortable from the minute we got there.
I hadn't told my husband how I felt but the first night I came up with every excuse to try to get us to go back to the cottage later and later. In the end, he said "are you feeling that bad feeling about the place too?"
We both were so spooked, we kept our daughter (who was about 1 at the time) downstairs with us til we went to bed and put her in the bed with us rather than in her own room there.
It was the worst holiday I've ever been on. Before we left we found the guest book and everyone else who'd been there before us said it had a horrible feel about it too.
No wonder the owners are renting these places out!!!0 -

He wasn't there long enough to install any insulation, and the thermostat stayed at the same temperature - I'm sad enough that I checked!Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
