I didnt make it to MK. DD was asked to work this afternoon and didnt want to tire her out as she is working really hard at the moment and doing extra hours. Anyway my heart was not really it. I went for a cuppa with Mooloo so that was nice.

Evening All

Its been a right wet, miserable weather day here, today. Matches my mood actually. OH is away again, to Cheltenham until the 24th or thereabouts, hope the weather is better there, he seems to be coming down with a cold.

No OS here, I took DS1 to his guitar lesson, went to tesco for a new doormat, and have just fed them, nice simple wraps for dinner. I am meant to be going to pta shortly but might give it a miss.

So, sadly the news on BIL isn't good, there is now sign of it spreading into his lungs. They will give him a month or so, to see if his general health can be improved, then try a different chemo. We didn't expect great news, he doesn't look well and sleeps almost constantly, but you still hope, don't you? Thanks for your well wishes, as always.

Have had quite a productive day today. Tried to start a new thought process. Instead of listing all I have to do and losing heart because it all seems overwhelming, I tell myself that I will just START a job. Often once I've started it seems much more manageable and I sometimes finish it in minutes. For a procrastinator like me this is unheard of.
Yesterday I made soup. rolls and chicken casserole - enough for several days so am trying to get a few garden and cleaning jobs done.
Am going VERY OS this Christmas and making it small and simple. There is enough to do churchwise without trying to be festive as well. Last year we clocked up 11 Christmas lunches! Geraldine, eat your heart out. We didn't do them all on the same day though.

I'm absolutely shattered, such a long day but got lots done in uni. I'm in my pjs, drinking wine and going to get an early night.

Got home, went to use my laptop and it's sodding broken again :mad: I've only had it back a week, and it's only 3months old !!!!!!. Will have to ring them tomorrow, I want a replacement now not repair.

Also my key for the main flat door hasn't worked last 2 nights :mad: no idea why! Luckily neighbours buzzed me in. Flatmate is home later so will get here to check hers and get it sorted tomorrow.

OS wise - WM just finished so will go on airer now, DW emptied, had lovely veggie curry and rice from freezer for tea

Got day off tomorrow and am off to Cardiff with the girls

Arm is really itchy tonight so hopefully it is a sign that it is starting to heal.
