see what I mean BrettBrett you say most of the furniture you have is from your own flat yet on other threads you have posted you claim to live with your father in a house,
I think perhaps you should read what you previously post before making another thread in order to not give the game away that you just whiling away your time making pointless threads.0 -

Try and see if Gumtree or CheapCycle have a site with a local group

Another vote for Gumtree! I needed a sofa for my last house move and found one *for free* within a mile of me.
The lady was replacing it and needed it gone quickly - it's a cream-coloured modern corner sofa that I absolutely adore! It doubles as a very comfortable spare bed and looks fabulous in my new flat

There are lots of places where you can get a cheap secondhand sofa, but the expensive part is likely to be the cost of getting it to your new flat. Try and see if you can find someone who will deliver it cheaply or free...0

Going slightly off-topic but am I right in thinking.... if you get a council property they give u a small amount to decorate. Whether you work or not
Clever stuff.
Instead of reposting the same question again and again (and being pulled on it) you start an irrelevant thread then slyly repost your contentious question halfway through, I doff my cap.
BTW I wouldnt buy large furniture in advance of a move:
- Eats up needed money
- More removal costs
- More storage costs
- What if sofa doesnt go with new room/ house
-What if new sofa wont go through the door/ in lift etc of new house?
Dont do it0 -

When I moved in to my new flat last year, I went to British Heart Foundation.
I got my sofa and a lovely rocking chair, a table and two chests of drawers. Really good condition and total was about £150. All delivered free. ( Although I gave the delivery guy a couple of pounds 'for a drink' and he didn't refuse it!)0
