    I grew up there! Probably a better area of Nottingham, as has been mentioned avoid Meadows, also St Anns, Broxtowe, Lenton etc.
    Long Eaton, Wollaton, Beeston, Attenborough, Trowell, West Bridgford, Ilkeston, Arnold are all decent areas IMHO.
