Shiny New Dustbin

To recieve a brand new clean and shiny dustbin simply phone your local council and tell them it is damaged. The bin lid hinges are most susceptible to damage. My new bin has arrived and I am now the envy of my neighbours! Regards Richard

I can't understand why a few have got new bins for broken lids.
My lid disappeared off mine, presumably in the dustcart.
Phoned up & after 4 weeks they came & put a new lid on it, so they are fixable, without too much cost.
