I commented too. There is far too much of this going on at the moment. Lets be honest, we are not talking about them giving away an all expenses trip to Vegas flying back by flying jet are they? I really don't think it would kill them to honour your prize. Especially as you were so looking forward to it.

Well seeing they haven't used their fb page in awhile. that seems a better option.

Think its totally disgusting what they have done. They get all our details in the hope we might get a prize then they take it away!!! No way, this could have happened to anyone of us, so we must get behind Michelle.

Isn't there like an Competition Ombusman we can contact?

You need to contact Aesop Agency http://www.aesopagency.com - they are a Brand Agency that administer all the prizes for quite a few drinks companies. If you ring and ask for someone more senior I am sure you will get somewhere. This is where Jess works that contacted you. They also have a Twitter account - link is at bottom of homepage. I won with Woodpecker and had to chase for my prize.

I think an email to them asking for advice might be helpful-seems to be the nearest thing to a competitions ombudsman.

Hi Mishel
If you get no joy from the facebook or twitter can I suggest that you get in touch with the IPM (The Institute of Promotional Marketing). which use to be known as ISP (Institute of Sales Promotions)
They have helped a lot of compers get their prizes from companies who have reneged.
You can contact them here - 'if you have a problem with an individual promotion and think that it should be investigated, please email us at complaints@theipm.org.uk'.

Hope you get this sorted, might be worth a tweet at http://twitter.com/#!/HeinekenUK as they are part of the Heineken group who are probably not aware of what has happened as they usually have good customer relations. (I tweeted and pointed them in the direction of the SJ FB page)
