hi
i have a cream leather sofa and have bought some stardrops as read it comes up great but do i dilute and if so by how much??
Thanks!0 -

I would dilute about 1-8 and start from there. Increase Stardops if won't come out. I also find babywipes great for this kind of thing (2 DGSs so always have wipes). I tend to try wipes first and the Stardrops as wipes are fab too.0 -

Yes, I still do a wee bit disinfecting. Also in between a microfibre cloth polishes uptaps etc really great.0 -
.....SORE HANDS AFTER USING STARDROPS....
This was my first day with Stardrops. Must admit, did use it a lot today and now my hands are burning, fiery red and dry! It says on the bottle that it is kind to hands. I don't have sensitive skin, never have any problems with other products.
Has anyone else had this?0 -
I have had it - after using Stardrops to clean my oven, my hands got horrendously dry and cracked. Still, I'll know next time to use gloves
I find Stardrops amazing at shining up chrome/stainless steel surfaces etc. I put about a tablespoon in an old spray bottle, diluted with water and use that to clean all my surfaces in the bathroom and kitchen. They sparkle!
I also find Stardrops is excellent at cutting grease - it got straight through the crud on my cooker hood filter with no problems
I'ld be interested to see how people get on with mirrors and glass - I always find it leaves my glass streaky - still vinegar and newspaper for meWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
i got sore hands too !!!slimmimg world weight loss 6lbs

I find it is much better on my oven stains than any other spray I had used before.
I am going to give it to my brother and his wife as they spend alot on things for the house.
How much to use in a dishwasher per load - is it one teaspoon? And where do you put it - drawer or inside the machine? I don't have a dishwasher...MFW #185

If people want disinfectant, can I recommend the pink sister of Stardrops, Startips? I use that in the loo/work surfaces and it smells lovely. There's also a pine one (Starpine) which is green, but its a bit pine-y for me.......
Also Zoflora do a concetrated Anti bacterial spray, which I picked up for 99p in Sainsbury's - scent was 'Rainfresh' - really nice.0 -
Sadiedoll, thanks for that. Never heard of Startips. Where can you buy that? Is that readily available in supermarkets? I can't remember seeing it beside the Stardrops in Poundstretcher.
The stardrops does make things sparkle. I love it but will use gloves if I am going to use it in a bucket for the whole house.0 -
I've had some from SemiChem in the past, also local 'pound' shop. Haven't seen it in any of the 'big' supermarkets though.:rolleyes:0
