Hi, some great tips here, thanks. I sometimes use a some bleach diluted in a spray bottle for my worktops & toilet, just wondered if you could add a drop of bleach to diluted stardrops in a spray bottle, or this a definite no-no?0

Are Stardrops ok to use in the dishwasher instead of dishwasher tablets. Also I have read that some people have used them in washing machine with soda crystals instead of washing powder.0

Well we finally bit the bullet and got some star drops in.
We was a little afraid of diluting 1/3 stardrops to 1/3 white vinegar to 1/3 water so opted instead for a very weak solution. We have to admit we wasn't impressed with the results and was, in honesty, pretty disappointed with a sink that looked like it would have with just a wash down with plain water.
So we thought "in for a penny, in for a pound" and changed to 1/3 of each and tried again. Wow what a HUGE difference and coupled, as stated many times in this thread, with a microfibre cloth we was amazed how easy and how amazing the sink looked.
I had a reaction however with my hands, as others have said, so will need to wear gloves when using this solution. But we then went and did the bathroom sink, our black tiles in the hallway and even the PVC backdoor, we are well impressed.
As i speak OH is using stardrops neat on our hob (its always clean but has never looked as new since we got it) and we'll see how that works out.A male chef of 4. My restaurant is always full and i don't need to tout for business.

After much inspiration from this thread I bit the bullet and bought some stardrops at morrisons (75p). well blitzed the bathroom yesterday and hubby said he now needs to wear shades cos its so bright. Today blitzed the kitchen I am ashamed to say it had been a bloody long time since I did my cupboard tops- the bits no-one ever sees and well it looks like I have new cupboards- had to use neat on some areas but what a change white tiles from floor to ceiling and shining like a new penny. definetly recommend gloves for use with it but I don't think there is a thing it can't bring up like new. what a product.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

Searched every shop in my town and couldn't get any, had to wait to go into Lincoln and found it in Morrisons along with Starclen, visited MIL after shopping and found Startips in her utility room...

Well I think Martin should tap the makers up for a charity donation, as their sales must have gone through the roof with us lot buying it.
